near some of the major atractions in Berlin, next to a metro station and two shoopings centers. Cheap beers in the pub. If you plan to use it just to sleep and have a shower in a place with good transprort conections is a economic option to consider. Kim is your neighbour.

  2. Anthony From New Zealand On November 30, -0001

The staff were not totally friendly when I checked in and didn't tell me anything about Berlin. The dorm room I stayed in was pretty dirty but the bathrooms were fine. Was pretty cheap so I can't really complain and would come back maybe for a short stay only.

Pretty good place to stay. The rooms and beds were always super clean, and the bathrooms were about average for cleanliness. Great location for walking to all attractions. The male staff were great answering questions but some people of the female staff were extremely snobby and rude and make you feel bad for asking a question.

The hostel was great, well located, clean and confortable. But the staff was very moody, not helpful at all. When I asked for directions to go to the airport, they sent me the wrong way.

  17. Jorian From Sweden On November 30, -0001

Ok reception area with nice sandwiches, coffe and beer. I had a private double room and did not sleep well. Walls are very thin, construction starts at 7 am outside and housekeeping just walks in. Towels in the reception. Internet codes expiring 10 am every morning. Check out at 10 am, check in at 3 pm. Not worth the money. Very nasty public toilets downstairs.

  18. Sune From Denmark On November 30, -0001

The internet in the rooms is very slow. To slow to actually be used for anything else than mail check

  19. Marcos Jose From Argentina On November 30, -0001

Very nice hostel with friendly staff and well located.

The Cityhostel Berlin is a big hostel and the day we check in was crowded with people. They offer breakfast and was not bad. The room size is reasonable (10 beds room). However the lockers inside the room have some problem. The hole for locker is so big that a small one can't lock the locker. You must bring a bigger lock if you really want to lock something. There is 2 bathrooms on each floor. For the female bathrooms, one of it got 2 shower places with glass door, no lock. But the time we were there, one of it cannot be used. While the other bathroom got 4 shower places with only curtains. Some of the shower was broken as well. So only 4 female shower rooms on my floor which was not enough for the whole floor which has more then 20 rooms. And once my friend said one guy tried to bump into the female bathroom (as no lock on the only door). However there is a very big and clear female sign on the door. This make us feel unsafe. The wifi is not user friendly. The password change every 12 hours and you have to go downstair to the counter for a new password.
