Reservation was not made. Bad experience.
Booking a bedroom for 2 (double bed private with WC), be aware, that you there will be only a bed, wardrobe and TV in your room + bathroom. Staff explained that the kitchen equipment - fridge, kettle, microwave - are available only in bigger rooms for 4 people. We didn't like spending time in our stuffy unventilated room (don't recommend you to stay there in June, as we did) on the top floor. Location is relatively well - quite far from the city center byt near to the subway. The staff was helpful – when we asked, they gave us some old coffee maker (better than nothing when you want to boils water for tea/coffee) and cutlery. Relatively cheap. I wouldn't stay there again.
Hotel refused to check us in. Reason:they resigned from participation in hostels club. We were not informed about that before coming to Paris. Eventually we have been moved to another hotel, but I would highly discourage anybody from making a reservation there. Quality was avarage, but staff barely say a word in English. In plus is neigbourhood of street market - quite interesting thing.
This is a 2 star hotel in Malakoff which is a on the outskirts of Paris. It is easily accessible by metro and only about 10min from the center. Locate the hotel on Google maps before you go there the first time as it is about 5min walk from the metro but locals may not know how to offer directions. I found it to be very basic but excellent standards of cleanliness and the staff were friendly and helpful. The price was really really good in mid June. Stay here if you are young and want a base from which to operate in the city.
We booked a room for three, but surprisingly, we were provided with an apartment style room for four! Thank you very much!!! We really love the room!The room was tidied up daily and thw WiFi worked fine! The hotel is just within walking disctance to Malakoff Plateau de Vanves Metro station which was indeed very condusive. In addition, I would highly recommend this hotel to Muslims simply because a few Halal restaurants are located nearby, so you wouldn't find yourself starving for your holidays ;P The down side was just the size of the "shower room" in WC which is quite small which I don't think can fit large size people.
It was a good place to stay for visiting Paris. Nothing fancy or special.. the staff was nice and the place was clean overall.
Location was nice. Close to the metro. It was quiet, so we could have a good night sleep.
Nice hotel. Everything was great. Just 5-min walk distance to the metro station. Oh and the silence was great, so sleeping and relaxing would never a problem there :) I would like to stay there again...
Nice two-bedroom flat with kitchen and bathroom included. The only thing I disliked is that the shower room is too small (you can barely fit there) and you have to bother the other guy in your flat if you need to use the washroom.
Quality is excellent for the price you pay. The beds are clean and very well, good shower, no traffic-noise. The staff is very friendly.
Residence de la tour was really nice! My sister and I both enjoyed our stay there and recommend it. The staff were amazing, and took their time to show us things to do and places to go....very much appreciated it! Thanks very much, everyone was awesome! Kathryn and Rachel
It's a very clean and beautiful hostel and the staff is so kind and it is a very good place.
