Info & Description

Clink261 is a warm and welcoming hostel located in Kings Cross - London’s most well connected transport hub and its newest cultural quarter. It is a rather glamorous boutique hostel which offers an intimate atmosphere combined with a personalised service.
Our hostel has a very British feel; it’s draped in Union Jacks, a picture of the Queen adorns our walls and a cosy fireplace invites you to exchange stories with fellow travellers.
Our reception is manned 24/7 by multi-lingual staff, with night security from 9pm. We have no curfew, but you need your keycard to gain access to the hostel and your room.

We offer clean and modern facilities such as a self-catering kitchen, a chic internet corner where you can write emails, a comfy lounge to play Wii or kick back and relax in front of its huge plasma TV, a laundry and even a travel desk at reception.

As well as offering a variety of mixed dorm, Girls’ dorms and private rooms, we also offer: -

- FREE bed linen
- FREE towel in private rooms
- FREE luggage room storage
- FREE safety deposit for valuables
- FREE movies on the big screen every night
- FREE London walking tour (departing every day from reception)
- FREE Wi-Fi

We are only at 5 minute walk to St Pancras International - for Eurostar trains to Paris, Brussels and beyond! and are very close to all London attractions. So if it's the real London experience you're looking for, come to Clink261!

You'll also find yourself a stone's throw away from the British Museum, Covent Garden, Bloomsbury and Camden Market or just minutes away from the bright lights of Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square.

It was horrible. dirtdy and slow service. you have to wait at least 10minutes for check in

  2. otto From Netherlands On November 30, -0001

Very cheap hostel considering the very good location and free good breakfast. Sometimes I fell over recharging cables, I am very sorry for that. The internet was a bit slow, and during the evening times it was difficult to connect. The people in the hostel were very nice and I made many new friends.

  3. Stefan From Netherlands On November 30, -0001

Just bring some earplugs if your in the shared room ;)

  4. Oleksandr From Ukraine On November 30, -0001

Only stayed for one night, so I didn't have to use the shower which looked rather dirty (as well as the bathroom - although I've seen much worse). Otherwise everything ok for its price. Location is pretty good as well.

  5. Fausto From Portugal On November 30, -0001

The worst thing in this hostel was the fact that the rooms had no ventilation, so the windows must be open. The only problema is that outside the street is very noisy. Beside that the hostel was ok.

  6. Morgane From Belgium On November 30, -0001

It was perfect! Very nice decoration and and people at the entrance were very nice and helpful! I would come back and recommend it! :)

  7. KEELY TSANG From USA On November 30, -0001

except for the hardware everything is amazing (temporarily out of hot water and no head light in the lower level bed....sigh)

  8. Murillo From Brazil On November 30, -0001

Was amazing, 100m from King's Cross, In front of supermarkets, McDonald's etc... I have enjoyed to much!

  9. Svenja From Germany On November 30, -0001

Nice small Hostel, very close to King's Cross Station. The staff is nice and helpful. We had a 4 person room, which was quite small, but clean. The bathrooms (shower/toilet) were clean as well; none on the floor we were staying though, only two floors down (they are renovating I guess). The breakfast was rather minimalistic.

I had really enjoyed at the hostel. It was very funky a clink!

  15. Babette From Netherlands On November 30, -0001

location near King's cross is great, loads of busses and underground lines nearby. Room and kitchen (very nice large one) were clean, bathroom unfortunatly not. Small rooms, with 1,80 m beds, so if your tall, that will be a problem.I didn't quite get it why there was music in the hall from app 8am -11pm. The walls are thin and you definitely need earplugs! Ask for a room away from the street, wich is busy and there's a club across the street. Nice for a few nights, not if you'd like to stay longer. It would be nice if all the staff could speak proper English.

  16. Gianluca From Italy On November 30, -0001

i think that Clink261 is a good hostel for young people, students and children. The rooms are clean, kind staff, good position, (is near King Cross Station). But the men's bathroom would be to renovate...

  17. Eduardo From Brazil On November 30, -0001

Well, despite of really good staff, I didn't like the way of beds are placed in rooms. You pratically will spleep with face to face to other people.

  18. Antoine From France On November 30, -0001

Good hostel, that's my advice for you, don't hesitate! Very cheap, London is not so expensive as we could think... Staff is cool, it's clean, what do you want more? A great and stylish kitchen with a small living room, TV, computers.. ;) and breakfast is good too! Thanks a lot, see you soon!

  19. Matthew From Australia On November 30, -0001

Friendly staff, comfortable beds, friendly vibe, great central position. What more can you want? Will definitely be back.

  20. Anne From Germany On November 30, -0001
