Good room not so far from the main station. But the staff is terrible, with a crazy guy that has serious mental problems. I really don't recomend MB5/Prague-1!!!!

Very nice place with beautiful garden near to city center .

  3. Josef From Germany On November 30, -0001

Very nice hostel with a very friendly stuff. Despite arriving before the official check-in time we were able to access our room. The stuff gave us some hints where we should go.

  4. HIU YING From China On November 30, -0001

I have a good stay here. Luggage was allowed to be put in the hostel even before the check-in time. We stayed at a 2-person room and found it spacious and clean. The only problem is that the bathroom is shared. I will be more glad if there can be a sink in the room. What's more, the location is perfect in the way that it is just next to the Wenceslas Square. With such good value, perfect place to stay in Prague!

The host knows english well. The rooms are nice and tidy. It was a pleasure to stay there for 3 nights. And the hostel's location is excellent(3min from Vencelas Square by foot)

  6. Stanislaw From Poland On November 30, -0001

Very nice place. There are very quiet, nice rooms on the back of the house and a small beautiful garden too. The staff is kind and helpful. I can sincerely recommend it to anyone.

Read your email from the non-residential proprietor carefully as you may have to pick up your key at the bar (very nice people) across the street. The space was clean and very quiet considering it was on a busy street. It is centrally located.

good value budget hostel with location close to train station and main walking street in prague. However, there is only 1 toilet to be shared by at least 8-10 people in the 4 rooms, and sometimes we have to wait up to 2 hours to get to shower!

Nice little Hostel in the central of the city, from where you could easy reach any place of Prague. With huge rooms, free sheets, towls, cups, coffee, internet and a nice service to a much nicer price, it is a gread place to start your vancation through Prague.

Clean, quiet hostel in good location, not far away from oldtown and Zizkov! Professional staff. No bad surprises. Highly recommended.

We were at MB5 hostel beetwin 14th and 18th of may 2012. We were pleasantly surprised of the cleanliness and the condition we had found. It was a proper and tidy place to stay. And above all it vas verry reasonable priced!!! And the staff(=the manager) was nice to.(English speeking)

  14. Marcin From Poland On November 30, -0001

The hostel's menager is very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, we got the room with distinctly lower standard then the other two. Always ask for the room with the windows to the street side.

  15. Joanna From Poland On November 30, -0001

Very nice place, close to pubs and restaurants and metro station. Very nice owners, who always want to help. I recomend this place.

  16. Margot From France On November 30, -0001

    The price-quality was undeniably perfect.

I am thankful for MB5 staff for their decency and hospitality, though I did not live in the hostel. They had overbooking, so when I came to the hostel, the manager met me and with apologes forwarded to neighbour hostel where he reserved the place. That hostel was quite good and more expensive, so he paid the price difference (in cash), explain everything and gave the map of Prague.

Excellent position, quiet nights, free wi-fi made the place the exact replica of what me and my girlfriend dreamed of before visiting this lovely city. If you're a lone traveller or a Prague first-timer, you'll probably miss the fun and buzz your average hostel bar or kitchen has to offer. But if your laid back journey with your partner begins and ends in Prague and lasts for only a couple of days, then this hostel is the nest you're looking for.

The best hostel I have ever stayed in. Room was huge and only had just myself and friend in there although the owner could easily have managed to put ten beds in the room. It was like having your own apartment in Prague with the bathroom, fridge and microwave the only shared items with the other 4 guests (there are only three rooms). The man who owns and runs the hostel is fantastic, very helpful and informative about the city - highly recommend!!!
