(Very) small, but relatively low-priced rooms in an excellent neighbourhood. Lots of bars and restaurants in this trendy and quiet area from where you can walk to 5th Avenue, Little Italy, Chinatown... Despite the Jane being more like a hostel (small rooms, shared bathrooms) there were some surprising hotel services, such as daily room cleaning; towels, bathrobes, slippers; and some excellent service at the front desk. At 100$ a night, its a steep price for the room size, but other hotels easily start at twice this rate (unless you want to stay in a poor hygene place in Chinatown...)

Very nice hotel, perfect location.. I got a private room with shared bathroom. Room is small -maybe 8-9 m2, but not a problem. You get robe, and slippers to go to the bathroom..
lovely hotel in a great location - only downside was needing to leave a deposit or credit card 'holding fee' - not so budget after all!
