the marrakesh medina is a bit of a weird experience. Now if you are sure the medina is the place you want your base to be: i totally recommmend you this riad.

Riad Lila is amazing. The staff are so friendly and very welcoming. They make you tea and give you fresh towels each day. It feels like an Oasis when you walk in there off the dusty street. Very close to the central square as well. Highly recommend you stay

Riad Lila gives you the comfort and silence you wish after a day in de crowded medina. When it´s hot you can cool off in the little but refreshing swimming pool. The staff takes good care of their guests. The even fold up our clothes which were all over the room! The only thing is that de staff (two girls) only speak arabic and french and barely english. So learn your languages :) Over all i would say: this is a riad where you feel at home :)
