    Buenos Aires:

Argentina's adored tango crooner, Carlos Gardel (1890-1935), owned and lived in this modest house in Abasto with his mother from 1927 to 1933. Trace Gardel's life alongside the resurgence of tango music worldwide and learn about the man away from the spotlight.

Born in Toulouse, France, Gardel grew up in Buenos Aires and took tango to a global level with his voice and good looks. He eventually spent much time performing in France when he was famous, before being killed in a plane crash in Colombia.

Parts of the original house were changed and demolished when it was a tango club, before it was converted into the present museum.
