Great place, great atmosphere. A decent bed to sleep at night, and people to hang out if your not sleeping. The price is extremely good, and the location is wonderful. Its close to everywhere, and the neighborhood is prety safe for Rio. Metro station and bus lines close, places to eat and supermarkets also. I only think they should have more bathrooms, but it wasnt a big problem. |

This is a nice hostel with friendly staff. We splashed out and stayed in the suite (double room with bathroom, though actually in the corridor, not part of the room). We liked the staff though found standards to be pretty sloppy. E.g. we asked for the sheets to be changed after 2 days (standard daily change in brazil in any type of hotel) and they refused. Not good customer service for a place charging $R150/night! |

Lovely staff, close to night market, shops and Copacabana beach. Great fans in room and great price, cheap internet on site and cable tv and free breakfast. I initially stayed for 4 nights and was supposed to go somewhere near Ipanema beach for the next 4 days in Rio but that hostel was so bad I returned here for another 3 nights. More for people wanting to relax as its not really a party place. |
