easy to access to blue mosque,topkapi palace views of the island .jakuzzi room are very stylish.very nice and polite staff

Really great location. Only 5 minutes walk from the blue mosque, hippodrome and waterfront. And only 2 minutes to the main train station. Room was very small and bathroom was cramped. Also had a room that smelt like stale smoke

This place has one awesome spirit, the location is just perfect,takes 7 mins. to get to the Blue Mosque and a few mins. in the opposite direction to get to the Marmara Sea. Almost no traffic in the nearby streets and lots of flowers make it really attrractive. The rooms are cute, very clean and quiet, feels cozy, indeed. And the best thing: the terrace on the top. You will spend hours there, the views (day or night) are just stunning. When combined with friendly staff, I can highly recommend to everyone.

Staff is very kind, and they have a very usefull travel agency not so far from hotel with is linked to them and is cheap. Internet is free but it`s not in the hotel but in the travel agency. Hotel is clean and close to blue moschee

Breakfast rich and tasty, nice view out of the window, better in night than during the day, Room No.501 when raining outside some drops inside - from the light in the bathroom! AWESOME LOCATION, on the main street right in between Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. All the sites of the old city are walkable and other tours will pick you up from the hotel.

We found this small hotel on a Google search the night before arriving from a Bahá'í Conference at Yeditepe University, and struck lucky indeed! The hotel is, as promised, just 1 minute from Istanbul's 'Blue Mosque'. The tram from the ferry passes the door and we were right in the centre of tourist attractions. Ideal for a short break, the rooms have t.v., hair-dryers, and fresh linen daily. The breakfast room on the top floor has panoramic views of St. Sophia, Sultan Ahmet and several smaller mosques, as well as with another lounge on the first floor. Breakfast was simple and plentiful, with good restaurants on the street outside. A mini-bus was organised to take us effortlessly to the airport, with the hotel apparently taking commission for this.

Although very basic in facilities (toilets are those where u squat over a hole in the floor), this hotel is excellent in terms of location and service! Near all the must see places in Istanbul with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Great value for money!

Great neighborhood. Quiet and easy to find. Close to good eateries and middle class shopping areas. Not too touristy. Nice rooftop view of the European side. Rooms are small and no AC nor fans. so it can get pretty steamy, though the outside is breezy and cool. The staff are very nice but speak little English. But for the price, no complaints.

I am happy to say I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Some rough edges which I was told would be sorted out soon. Very pleasant staff.

Istanbul comfort hotel was a hostel with a lot of promise. At the time of our visit it was clear that the rooms weren't completely decorated and ready and that the bathrooms needed some work, but according to the hostel manager this was a known fact and was going to change. He was a likeable man and pleasent to chat with. I recommend this hostel to anyone looking for an affordable place situated close enough to transportation and services that will allow you to see almost all of Istanbul.

Turvan is a very nice hotel situated in the heart of Istanbul. We felt comfortable here, the staff was very kind.

even though the staff was nice and carrefull(but the turkish style and nothing else) and the position of the hotel is very good, the way the rooms and the toilets look like is not so friendly.
