The place is clean, but the walls are like cardboads: you could hear everything that happens in the other room. Staff is not really friendly and I felt rushed. |

The bed wasn't great and the sheets very thin. And only a cover on the bed no blanket. But for a short stay it was economical and friendly. The toilet was downstairs from my room. A small hassle at night. |

We had a night flight and arrive at hostel at 1:30 am. Nobody opened. We were waiting for an hour. Nobody answered the phone, the door was locked. We also tried to wring the door - absolutely nothing. Indeed we had to spend the night at airport. Awful service! |

Hostel has an awful smell of cigarettes inside (even if it is prohibided) and is very old. There is one little bathroom for everyone and is not clean. It is very hot in all the rooms becouse there is a problem with air conditioning in the building. Some rooms has a view for an awful backyard. Beds are not comfortable and there is no (even little) space to put things. At least the hostel is situated in a great area, near all museums. |

My girlfriend and I stayed for 6 days and I can say that it's among the best hostel/guesthouses I've been. I would definitely recommend it! The guesthouse is 5 minutes walk from the center. The room had a TV, refrigerator and air conditioner, which for the price is awesome. A cleaning lady cleans the common areas (kitchen, bathroom) everyday. Staff is really friendly (we had breakfast together) and helpful (they can point you to good restaurants, bars, events, etc.). |

We stayed at Hotel EP Neptuno, Madrid on a number of occasions and found it to be reasonably priced & in a convenient location. However, on our return to Madrid, on 19 July 2013, and having already paid a deposit for our reservation, we found a notice on the door saying the hotel was closed for business. I can therefore not recommend this hotel to anyone else! |
