The website said that breakfast was included in the rate, however when we arrived we were told there was definitely no breakfast. The space was fine so we could prepare our own, but it may be an idea to take that page down from the website to avoid disappointing anyone.

A fabulous location with friendly and helpful staff. Really great value for money.

The hotel is very small - 6 rooms. The smaller is the staff - 1 person, who was all hospitality, kindness and helpfulness. It is very easy to get to bus/train stations by vaporetto (3 min. walk and 25 min. ride), as well as San Marco & Lido (10 min max.) But if you walk on foot, you can get tired while reaching the city center through overcrowded streets - distance is long, over 1/2 hour. To sum up - recommend with not a single doubt.

Excellent, if I come on next visit I choose this with no other option. Right place and short distances below 100 meters to all public transportation and affordable budget prices for rooms. Good staff I highly appreciate their services, initiative and interactions.

We where in the hostel in full lockdown downtown but we enjoyed a lot our stay all safety measure are guaranteed by the management good job and look forward to be back as soon as possible

We loved our stay in a Very central Area of the city with all shopd restaurants bars...all action is around.

Great little guesthouse 5 minutes walk from Campo San Margherita and St. Toma Vaporetto stop. Very handy to the main bus stop at Piazzale Roma also. We initially had trouble finding it however as there are 10+ "Calle del Forno" streets in Venice and hostelworld had marked it incorrectly on the map. Apart from this i'd recommend it to friends and family. It's in a nice area, and quiet (from loud noises) at night.

I would advise this hotel: it is clean, pretty and well situated (In Venise, it is convenient to be close to the train station). Otherwise, the bed was not comfortable and we could hear the people of the other room. I have however seen worst for a one star hotel.

This is a very small hostel with a lot of stairs and no lift. It is comfortable enough, but is a little old and run down.

Mark (the staff) was Very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, The only problem for my son and I was finding Alloggi Al Mercante. I would definitely recommend (a little off the beaten path)

warm and friendly people working there … everything was fine and easygoing …

It's good quiet place with kindly people. We stayed there for two nights and noone disturbed our sleeping. Big rooms with conditioneer and cheapest mini-bar I ever saw! Close to vaparetto line and good supermarket (you can't find supermarkets in Venice so often as in other cities).

room clean but embellishment basic and quite old, bathroom clean but a bit old fashion, breakfast room very pleasant neighborhood very calm, at 15/20 min from rialto by foot.

we are satisfied with accommodation, service, hygiene and location of the hotel. for that category and the price it was appropriate.
