I could say much about this gloomy hostel, but Hostelclub doesn't allow more than 200 characters, which is not enough to talk about my terrible experience there. So, in a nutshell : please save your money and get to other Camden Hostels like St Christopher's Inn. They are a hundred times better, and CHEAPER. Or sleep in the train station instead, you will save your money. |

Some lockers wasn't work properly, but it wasn't a problem because the people who I shared the room, were good and friendly people. The position is really good, a rich zone. A 2 minutes walking to the underground, and a 1 minute or less walking to the bus stop. Just one thing, the shower is in the bedroom, so if there are lots of people sleeping in the same bedroom is a bit difficult and you need waiting so much time to take a shower. There are some toilets in the first floor and in the -1 floor, but not showers. Congrats ! |

This is the most horrible hostel I ever went to. Our room was extremely cold (the heating wasn't on, and there was a hole in the window), and also the blankets weren't warm enough. Also, the music coming from downstairs made it impossible to sleep. Even the earplugs offered by the reception (for free, at least) didn't help, as one could physically feel the music. Everything about this hostel was bad. DON'T GO THERE! |

Basement room One of the light was out HORRIBLE wifi can't even open a browser No common area Kitchen poorly equipped Reception closes abruptly and frequently (not only close but literally locks the door. I am not the right person to give my opinion of Generator Hostel, because I am 61 years old. I stayed at the hostel with two of my daughters. 22 and 18 years old. I think that the staff was very nice and helpful. And the security was also very good as you controlled everyone that would enter the hostel. The hostel suits young people much more than persons in my age. For me the high-level music was a bit troublesome the first night but then I got used to it and slept still. But something I didn´t like was the coulors of the walls. But of course it is not so important. Yours cincerely Christina Tholerus. |

Hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. What was irritating is that i've picked that hotel because of it's add that it has free wi-fi connection "in EVERY ROOM", well i guess mine must have been special because most of the time i couldn't connect and sitting at hotel lobby is nt the best place to concentrate. other than that decent, breakfasts are a lil bit of joke but tourists might not mind. |
