Fantastic balcony in dorm with view to the main square. Fabulous staying. Too noisy though because of the location, but can't blame the hostel.

This was a really nice hostel. It's a little ways out of the main part of the city but it's really easy to get there on the tram and the hostel even sells tickets. The place is really clean and has a nice atmosphere. I don't like to stay at hostels that have drunk people wandering around in the middle of the night, and the staff at Toby's does a god job of making sure that you can actually get a good nights sleep. They also run a very nice tour (Richard's No Umbrella Tour) twice a week. It wasn't one of those tours that you can tell are from a chain - he did a nice job of showing you things you might not find on your own. PS-the breakfast is awesome!

It is not 5 star hotel, but if it is it would be the best:) Nice, cheap place. Best think in the hostel is the staff. Thank you.

Fantastic location for sight seeing, right in the heart of Prague. Very clean and the staff are great. There was no fan or air con in our room, consequently it was ridiculously hot. Needed the window open and try to sleep with the throngs of pub crawl hooligans.

The worst place I have been to. Stay away from this one! The hostel lies in a dirty, poor erea, with a pub under it. The room, though it was assured to be none smoking, they had not manged to remove the smel. I just cant stand the smell of sigarets. It was constantly noysy outside, cars, tram, workers, trucs osv. all night there was noyse. Even with my earplugs on I couldnt sleep for the noise. I recorded it, because it was so loud outside! The staff vere terrible. In the reseption a wohman was grumpy, because I wasnt on time. I appologised and tried to explain, but she wouldnt listen, instead she complained over and over. I had booked room for five nights. She demanded that I had to pay all in advanse! I refused, and sayed I had to try out the room one night first. I managed to convinse her. The day after, I had barely slept at all, and wanted to leave. The boss was there this time and demanded that I payed the amount for my reservation at once! I refused, because I argued about the noice, and showed him the recording! He insisted still, but I left only paying for one night. It was a awful place, I dont recomand. And DONT pay in aswanse, the you have nothing to say.

Large groups, echoing halls and no staff trying to keep people quiet meant we got no sleep on the first night. Wireless is only on bottom floor which is a shame. Good location but only for party people

I liked the staff, they were friendly and helpfull. The rooms were ok, big and clean enough. The (shared) shower was nice! It is close to the metro station and easy to find. In the hostel is not so much to do, but for me that was not a problem. I liked the "feel" of the hostel (little bit old and student house), but I can imagine that people feel different about this.
