The Bulldog Hotel Amsterdam - Continent

Great location with friendly staff!

It is a nice budget hotel in a great location, near the red light district. The hotel first floor is a coffee shop where people smoke marijuana legally, so expect to smell the marijuana. The room I stayed on 3rd floor (I think #312) uses motion to turn on the light. After a minute, the light would turn off automatically and you have to wave your hand to make turn it on again (you need to do it while you are standing up). So, if you are doing your business in the toilet sitting down for more than a minute, expect to do it in the dark the whole time. The only solution is bring your cellphone with you in the toilet so you can use it as a flash-light. :)

Good place to chill needs a real fire though!!

These place is just great: friendly staff; ideally located; there are all of you need in the room; terrace on the roof(!); awesome for a hostel!

Found it the best hostel I've ever been, eventhough I lost my rayban and a grinder there... =( The staff was really really nice! Congratulations! I'll definatelly recommend you!

I totally loved this place. I was a little aprehensive of what it would be like after reading a few reviews but it couldnt have been better and i would recommend it to anyone. I was travelling alone and found it very warm and welcoming. Thanks Bulldog

The Bulldog was a nice place to stay. Lounge open all day, very convenient place to chill out and have a pint. Great location. Nearly everywhere smokeable.

I stayed with my friend in a mixed dorm for 10 people and that was a really good option! Hotel was located close to everything and the hotel staff was really nice and helpful! We really enjoyed our trip and I really wanna go back someday soon!

The best Hotel to visit Amsterdam...!! Friendly, clean and in a spetacoular position...!!

The stuff seems to have more important things to do then taking care of you and more attention should be given to the room accomodation (someone took my bed when i wasn´t there)... anyway the location is really good and in 20 min walking from there you can nearly reach every interesting place in a´dam

The Sataff was very very kindly. I am really grateful for that. The cleanless (rooms´ floor) can be improved a little bitt.

The best for companies up to 3 students or free-for-all travelers - cheap, clean and fun. Real studen's share living. Minimum of additional conviniences.

Great hostel for both unexperienced and experienced travellers. Great location/area, good security, great coffeeshop, nice restaurant, good beds. Definately staying at Bulldog again.

This is the best hostel i´ve ever visited. Rooms are really clean, the breakfast great, the staff is absolutely helpful and the location is perfect,just in the downtown. I´ll recommend it to everybody and I´ll go there in my next visit to Amsterdam.
