It is a realy splendid place in the heart of old Istanbul. Pretty clean and cosy. It has a vonderfull view from the top floor. And all this for quite reasonable prise.

  2. Frédéric From France On November 30, -0001

Very good located near from all beautiful places; I used pick up service without problems; it was great, if you want to go near Sultanahmet you have to go there! It's cheap too.

  3. Evgeny From Russia On November 30, -0001

Nice old city location. Nice price. small frayed toilet/shower in double room. Pleasant staff

  4. Claudio From Chile On November 30, -0001

Well, it's hard to say, there are some good and some bad aspects. The good one is location, close to everything and close to the main landmarks. Bad things, bathrooms (wc), really disgusting place, doesn't work well, you may have some surprises coming from the deepest parts of Istanbul. If it's for few days, it's fine, nothing you can die of really, though it could be way much better. The staff depends on the day, there are some really nice people, and others it's hard to tell. all in all, we survived, and we won't go back there for sure.

    great accommodation

  6. Oleg From Latvia On November 30, -0001

In compariseon price/facilities this hostel is the best in Istanbul. The staff is very friendly and reacts immediately on any question.

  7. Alessandra From Brazil On November 30, -0001

Room in really bad condition and dirty. Linen clearly wasn't changed, but luckly we had sleeping bags. Kitchen has only sink and kettle, no microwave and no fridge. Wifi doesn't work well every night after 7 o'clock. Don't recommend the laundry service, not cheap and not good. Good location and breakfast included.

  8. Michael From Germany On November 30, -0001

Simply the best place to stay in Istanbul if you are looking for cheap and clean rooms. The hotel is in the heart of Istanbul, you can rich the Blue Mosque by walking in 5 minutes.

  9. Vladimir From Bulgaria On November 30, -0001

very good value for the money no luxury place as you can expect, a little bit old everything, BUT: very clean, very helpful staff, perfect situation, nice and cosy atmosphere, a terrace on the last floor with a nice view

It is Old Istanbul. And that it is. Remarkable the steel doors to the rooms. Staff is friendl.Breakfast good. In cellar a "bar" to end the tirefull day with a beer of wine and musiccomputer.

  11. Seydi From Belgium On November 30, -0001

This hostel is the worst hostel/hotel i've ever visited. I'm from Turkish origin and i'm ashamed! They wouldn't even change the sheats. They only threw som towels in the room and left... Don't stay for breakfast (words can't describe the THINGS we were served) and sooo unpolite people :S

  12. Laura From Italy On November 30, -0001

Room and bathroom were very dirty. Also sheet were dirty. They don't accept credit cards. It is a little strange because Istanbul is a very important and turistic city. In my opinion, the web site Hostels.com should give this important information in the hotel's description.

  13. Günay From Sweden On November 30, -0001

Old furniture, bad bath equipment, 6 floors and no lift, VERY VERY poor breakfast. But the price 40 per 2 persons is VERY good.

  17. Silvia From Italy On November 30, -0001

  18. MOHD KHAIRUL IZWAN From England On November 30, -0001

  19. vera From Germany On November 30, -0001

Paris Hostel is a cheap place to stay in Istanbul - the stuff was very friendly and always helpfull and the breakfast was good. The furnishing is quiet old and the rooms are totaly basic without any decoration. The water-pipe Cafe in the cellar has a realy romantic atmosphere!

  20. Richard From Czech Republic On November 30, -0001

Very good position for reasonable prize. Only unplesant things was the cold on the rooms during the night and missing curtain in the shower.
