Awful! There are BEDBUGS! And receptionist didn't change us the bedroom! Horrible! We had to Throw away everything! DON'T GO HERE!!!!
Excellent location. Nice hostel with clean rooms. Nice and kind staff but you won't get a lot of info about Madrid from them. In which case do your home work because this hostel is near the Puertas del Sol (500 metres), Pacha Disco (150 metres), El Junco Jazz Bar (50 metres). It was an excellent experience and I definatelly would recommend and return. Thank you.
Too loud but localization is perfect
You have to speak Spanish if you want to be understood. The personnal looks rude but they are ok. Otherwise, it is well situated and clean. You have space enough in the room.
The pension is in the very center, it is wery clean - daily laundry and tidying. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, though can't speak English, still we could make ourselves understood. In normal cases it could be a well equipped and functioning hostel, but when we were there, the whole building and the surroundings were under reconstruction, so minor inconviniences occured (no air-conditioning, occassional hot water and electicity shortage). But after they have finished reconstruction, probably everything will be all right.
Very clean room with private bath for only $24 a night in a good neighborhood in Madrid. However, very funky entrance, which kind of creeped me out. Staff are not sophisticated, shall we say, but very nice. Same corner as a Metro station, which made getting to the airport VERY easy. They do not have computer access or a night clerk.
Staff were friendly and helpful but our room was dingy with a cracked wash basin and the mattress was worn out . Position near Metro is very good but traffic is very noisy. Directions given for how to get to hotel from airport by Metro were wrong. Would not recommend to others.
The owners don´t speak any english at all wich became a big problem for me, because my Visa card didn´t work in their mashine.. Use cash only!!!
Rooms were fine but there were no facilites at all eg. guest kitchen. They staff didn't speak English as well which made it quite hard.
The place has a great location. A little too gloomy and sad but clean.I would say it's ok for the money.
Tiny room, was impossible to move in bathroom it was so tiny. No atmosphere whatsoever.
