Although being ideally situated close to the Puerta de Sol and being very clean - the staff cleans the shared bathroom several times a day even if at akward hours like 8.30 in the morning when guests want to use it or in the evening - the hostel is very noisy as the rooms are badly insulated. The furniture is quite old, too.
I enjoyed by stay, it is in the city center and a block away from a metro stop. Most everything is very accessible (e.g. la plaza mayor). Most rooms have AC, though someone I was placed in a room without it. I speak Spanish and was still unclear how all the other rooms were full. However, the hostel is very clean, fresh towels and maid service daily, and very nice people working there.
You get what you pay for and at 35 euro a night it was bearable for the 2 nights we had there. The location is good and the rooms and bathroom were clean. It has air con but it was a portable one which was very loud! And the neighbors smoke would filter thru our room, not real nice. We didnt get towels the 1st night but did the 2nd. Madrid is nothing special anyway
owners do not respond to inquarys, we were moved the second night to a room without a window and only 7 feet across and still charged 50euro. location is good but would not stay again. room and bathroom were clean.
Despite of how the building looks, the room was pretty clean. The staff was freindly and the cleaners organized our room while we were on our city tour. The only down thing for us was the noise: from the street (there's a bar near the hostel), and the "love noise" coming throw the walls :)
The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and pleasant. A great position in the middle "en centro". I recommend it.
Perfect hostel, in the middle of the old Madrid ( not far from Sol ). A 10/10 location, staff and rooms. Real star if you going to Madrid
Very well located hostel in the centre of Madrid. Not the most modern premises, but everything was clean and organized. English good enough to understand one another. Recommendation for everone who wants to discover the Spanish capital.

Hello :) This was honestly one of the best places I´ve stayded at. It was only a one minute walk from the centre of Madrid, a lots of resturant, shops, clubs and sightseings! It was very clean and the rooms were very nice as well. The rooms were very private and modern furnitured! The staff was very nice and helpful. I don´t think that one can find a better place to stay at :)
the best hostel i have ever seen. two nice people in there and they do everything as possible for your comfort. it looks like a hotel instead of a hostel. the best choice in madrid.
Very good and beutiful rooms for a great price!! Good location!! with flat screen TV!! but not breakfast : ( I highly recommend it!
Good Hostel, very clean, nice personal and located in the absolute center, so you can walk to the most places, also in the night when you go out.
It is very well located, near Sol, Gran Via or Plaza Mayor. It is very clean, organized and quiet. The hosts are very nice and thoughtful. We had a great time and we are already thinking of going back :)

Exactly what I was looking for: cheap, centrally located, near a metro stop, and reasonably clean and nice. AC in my room acted as a noise buffer for street construction in the mornings and I slept like a log. Otherwise in a pretty quiet location, all things considered.
The hostel was clean, but it smelled like smoke. The showers are also very clean. The only problem I had with the hostel, we the automatic light in the hallway that would turn on everytime someone walked passed it. It was bothersome during the night. Other than that it was nice, the manager was nice, and its super close to where most of the bars are at night, and the plaza mayor.
