Hostal 7 Soles - Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain

The location is very central. The staff seems very friendly. The room is old though and maybe thats why it looks warn out. Under the mattress there is a weird warnout clothing that looks dirty. At the hall the there are sofas everywhere but their springs and clothing are also very warn out. Something new now, at the hall there is a very big flat tv. In the room there is a small one, but only spanish channels. There is a machine for hot drinks, the prices are relatively cheap, we do not know how it tastes though. In conclusion this is a very basic accommodation in a central location. If you are out most of the time and are here for only a couple of days, this room is enough. But if you plan to stay longer and would like to have a kitchen for cooking then you need something else. The place is quiet, and at the reception there is always someone. They are helpfull.

Place managed by a kind family making you feel at home. Modest but very clean rooms, it's located on an old flats building. A little separated from touristic places but near of the Las Canteras beach and two central bus stations. Definitely I would come back.

Nice hostel

very nice and cheap hostel which has free internet and is situated in a quiet road, close to the beach. Highly recommendable.

Location somewhere in "chinese" part of Las Palmas - quite noisy area. Close to the beach but half hour walk to City shopping centres. Didn't see those beautifull landscapes seen from window showed on the pictures.

The rooms are clean, but the furniture is very cheap and old. Very nice and helpful staff. Free Internet. I would come back.

Great location

The Hostel is nice! The rooms are very clean but dark because the windows of most romms are located to a small dark inneryard (This kind of inneryards are typical for Spanish and Latin American hosuses). Just the dishes are a bit dirty and you have to wash them before useing. You can use internet for free. The stuff is nice exept an older woman. Furthermore she can´t speak english. The rest of the stuff speaks a little bit english. Its better to have knowledge of Spanish. All in all is the hostel recommendable!

Everything is good, super position, very clean and nice peopel

Even though there were a couple of small administrative problems which they solved immediately, I liked this hostel very much. First and foremost, it is very clean. They changed the towels everyday and cleaned a room everyday (what I cannot say about some other accommodation facilities I used in the past). The staff, though does not speak English, was helpful, friendly and nice. The hostel is only 5-10 mins away from the Playa de las Canteras. A bus stop is very near so you don't need to go far to hop on the bus and reach Santa Catalina or San Telmo bus (guagua) station. In the hostel, you can freely use the internet. There is a possibility to connect your own notebook. I think it is a very good choice for budget travellers. Strongly recommend it!

Helpful staff but they dont speak english, good we had spanish friends. Nice location i good area. Perfect place for group of young ppl! :)

The hostel's got a great location, only 5 minute walk from the beach "Las Canteras" which is a very clean and nice beach. The hostel's staff is kind specially the owner.
