Nice little hostel placed in the heart of Barri Gòtic for reasonable budgets. Clean, well-kept and nice staff. If I'm ever again in need of acomoodation in Barcelona I won't hesitate to go back.

  2. Sheng From China On November 30, -0001

Very close to City Hall. Good place to stay, and I lived in the 6 person mixed room, but not full. No breakfast, but with a small kitchen to cook. Free wifi available.

  3. Raivo From Estonia On November 30, -0001

Best Hostel I ever stayed in Barcelona. Super lux. Shower/Toilets are clean and nice. All rooms have thick external doors. Room itself (I took the double bed room) was nicely decorated with comfortable bed. Next time in Barcelona - will definitely stay there again!

  5. Conrad From Hong Kong On November 30, -0001

Pension Mariluz is a freakin awesome hostel! It's 2 minutes away from La Ramblas, yet not situated right down there to ensure a quiet, comfortable sleep at night. Well, it's not a hostel for drinking or partying, but for the traveler who needs a clean, comfortable place to sleep and rest (me), this is absolutely the most perfect place! The staff are awesome too! Don't know what else I can say than I'll be back! :D

  6. Simón From Mexico On November 30, -0001

Very good location in a very nice building.Good price and very clean

  7. Andras From Romania On November 30, -0001

This hostel is little but pleasant and clean. It was a little bit hard to find it, because its in the Barrio Gothico and the streets are really narrow. You better get there by a taxi, its abt 25-30 euros. Has no elevator and it's on the 3+1 floor, headlong. Fully equipped kitchen, though no hot water in the kitchen so you wash your dishes with cold water. Brrrrrr... Overall it was great!

  11. Werner From Germany On November 30, -0001

Good location and clean rooms in a traditional old spanish house. The staff is friendly and tolerant. Onliest disadvantage is that you have to climb up 4 levels ... We plan to come back within the next year.

Central to everything, amazing staff only downfall the stair but you are in the old city so its common!! One of the best spots in barcelona

I did not know what to expect as this was my first time visiting Barcelona. I was super content with the location of this hostal as well as the atmosphere inside. It is located on the 3rd floor of a building that is on a quiet street, but it only a couple of blocks from one of the main metro stations in the city, Jaume 1, the Cathedral and La Rambla. Nothing crazy was happening at this hostel when I was there. Seemed like most of the visitors respected one another´s privacy. I would definitely stay here again.

  14. Anna From Poland On November 30, -0001

Well located - in the center -and easy to get there from Metro Liceu ( L3)- 5 min walk to Ramblas, 3 min to Catedral La Seu.The staff was very helpful ( especially Abdul - :) providing all the information I needed. Very clean ( everyday cleaning and change towels ), nice kitchen. Everything was great, but one think - if you're looking for a party hostel take another one - this is very calm and has no common room.I would definetely recommend this hostel!

It is a five minute walk to La Ramblas, which is one a really fun and great shopping area. It is in a great building and they keep it quite clean,. the staff are really friendly as well and there is a kitchen to cook in. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent staff, facilities and location. The only thing is the stairs, but not a problem for me :-)

I first came to Mari Luz when I was 22. My quick trip back to Barcelona was to see CCCB and contemporary art. I was pleased to see the family images on the wall. While the pension has changed greatly from 1986, 1991 (second visit) and my third time in 2011 is because it values comfort, is located in Barri Gotic and has a calm atmosphere. Mari Luz is the place to stay because of these values. xxxxx

it is located in very convinient place and good for walking around center of city.but there are a few bad point. first of all it doesn't have elevetor and room is not big.
