In Itaca peple who don’t respect the right of others to rest aren't allow to stay. For those who like to enjoy the nightlife but also the wide cultural variety Barcelona has to offers, Itaca is the ideal place to stay. For those who just look for getting drunk and out of control, well, you should go head to one of the many ‘Party Hostels’ that exist in Barcelona!


Accommodation

Itaca has a maximum capacity of 30 people, the bedrooms are shared with 6,8 or 10 people, all with a balcony and very bright.
The installations are spacious, clean and welcoming. In addition to dormitories Itaca also has double rooms (with shared or private bathrooms), a triple and a family room they are also very well placed


Common areas, services and activities

The common areas are also social spaces where you can meet other travellers: A common room with TV, DVD where every day is shown a·Movie (In: : English ) where you can relax after sightseeing in the city. Also there is a well equipped kitchen and Dining room where breakfast is served in the morning (included in the price) and where you can make tea or coffee (Free) any time of day. There are also board games, books available to exchange, even a guitar.

    overall i think it is a very cool hostel, the staffs are very helpful, the location is very good, and it is not very big, so people staying there do have an opportunity to connect.

    Fantastic location right by cathedral near beach, la rambla and the Marina. Good night life nearby too. Staff friendly, only a few showers when we were there but no wait! A brilliant three days. Great value. Plus nice lounge area. Also 2.50euro for breakfast incl unlimited bread, cereal, cake, coffee, juice- brilliant value compared to local prices for one cup of coffee even is more than that! Also cafe opposite is lovely. Cool travellers from America and Canada staying there too. 50euro key price on other posts is rubbish- we only paid 6euro! Lovely place, and not upset if up drinking downstairs until 3am! Id definitely come here again!!! :)
