Hostal Miramar is a family hostel in front of yacht club in Barcelona. We are a ( minutes walk right Las Ramblas and 5 minutes walk to the beach.

Our hostel is the perfect starting place for sightseeing as we are very close to Cathedral, Picasso museum, Sant Jaume square and Ciutadela Park.

In the hostel we have different types of private rooms. All rooms have air conditioning/central heating, TV and fridge, private shower and w.c. Bed linen and towels are included in the price.

    Only good thing about this hostel was the location. It REAKED of smoke and filth. There is a no smoking sign in the lobby and the desk worker was literally smoking a cig behind the desk. Wifi didn't work at all in the back room. Didn't see another guest under the age of 50.

    they cut all the rooms to have more of them, quality of rooms are shabby... In the Internet i have rent other room than i got there.. Just Spanish speaking, a bit difficult sometimes bad isolated windows, very loud outside, its hard to sleep

    Very frendly staff,location perfect,the room is maybe a little bit strange,becouse toilet and shower are in the same room as bed.I need it only to sleep and shower so it was ok. Recommended.

    All rounded nice location and nice hostel. Only problem wise, wi-fi coverage is limited to just around the reception. The staff can't understand English but they try very hard.

    Location of the hostel is the best, 200m metro, 800m La Rambla, 1km to the sea. Staff very nice and helpful. 100% recommendation!

    Was not modern but clean and the staff were really friendly ! Unfortunately they did not speak English at all but if you want a cheap accommodation close to the sea this will be a good place to stay.

    It's was like be at home! Staff is friendly and help you with everything!only they don't speak so much English! Also it's near to everything you desire: beach,underground,supermarket,pharmacy and others!

    The room I booked was fine at least it met my expectations. Unfortunately, it had a serious bed-bugs infestation which ruined the experience. The staff definitely need more training as far as costumer service skills are concerned.

    My experience from staying one night in room #6: air condition not working, wifi not available (need to be closer to reception), staff not speaking English. This was our third visit to Miramar, the worst one. I am not sure we come back there. What can make us coming back is the very good location.

    Pretty nice, location is indeed good [not excellent]. But there is no hot water [even in receptionist] for drink. They should provide at least one water dispenser near the reception desk. The shower also not so good [something wrong with its temperature]. But with the given price, it's still worth it.

    Very basic but worth the money. It was extremely hot and there was no air con so had to sleep with the windows and doors open which was very noisy apart from that excellent stay. On a budget I would stay here again.

    Is the best place quality/price. The Staff is funny and polite. The position is great, close to the beach and la Rambla. You have a bus stop very close.
