Barcelona Sound Hostel is an awesome hostel right in the heart of the Barcelona City Center. Our hostel is a reformed typical Barcelona Apartment building- 6 floors tall with an amazing roof terrace, balconies on every floor, and great views of the bohemian Raval neighbourhood from every window. It’s the perfect place to watch the Barcelona life pass by. Close to all the best nightclubs and alternative spots in the city center, Be Hostels Sound is the perfect place to “come home to” at the end of your Barcelona day.

Decorated and painted by local graphic artists, Barcelona Sound is a modern hostel with a lot of personality. We offer our guests a big “chillout” room downstairs, a kitchen to save up money for the Barcelona sights and a big dining room with tables, lounge chairs and sofas to make your Barcelona stay as chill as possible. You are on vacation!

Our rooms are mixed, with 6 or 8 beds and shared bathroom one every floor. All rooms have a personal locker for each traveller, A/C, heating, mirrors….

All rooms at Be Hostels Sound have big windows with great Raval and Barcelona neighbourhood views. If your room is on the street side, you also have a balcony!!

The most important thing for us is that our travellers get a taste of what Barcelona is and what it represents for the people who live here. From Las Ramblas, to buildings with no straight lines, Barcelona is a very special city. Home to three of the most well-known Surrealist painters, Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso, and Joan Miró, even the most famous art of Barcelona is grounded in a reality alternative to the one that the rest of us know.

    Doesn’t look like in the website. The elevator broke ewith people inside and the staff didn’t act quickly. There was no reception 24/7. No kitchen 24/7. No elevator 24/7. I didn’t feel safe either.

    I liked the location and the staff was very nice. On the other side, the website said it had breakfast included for Erasmus students and it didn't. The mattress on my bed was uneven and it was a little uncomfortable. The bathroom didn't have a lock so my boyfriend had to stand outside the door while I showered.

    Great hostel. Everything was perfect, great place, great location, great pleasant and helpful staff, good simple breakfast food, clean toilets and bathrooms. The chill out zone and the rooftop terrace are awesome!!! My only warning is if you are light sleeper, it may bother you the noise because the walls are so thin and no sound isolation =) But when you go back tired after a long day/ night in the beautiful city who cares? =) I would totally visit it again!!!
