The Brand new, recently opened, AWA Barcelona Placa Barcelona is located in the heart of the city, just minutes walking from the main Plaza in Barcelona….Catalunya! We are brand new! Just opened, and it shows with our brand new beds, and furniture.



If you've been to Barcelona before, you know that Plaza Catalunya is where the heart of the city meets. We are just minutes up the street on the quiet side of the Plaza, rather than being on the Las Ramblas side where you'll never get some sleep, but is where the party is!

!!!CANCELLATION POLICY!!!

We have a 48 hour cancellation policy, where you must cancel prior to 48 hours of your arrival date, or you will be charged the first night. All no shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation.

Please be aware, any reservation with an amount over 1000 Euros, will be subject to a 30 day cancellation policy. No changes or cancellations can be made within 30 days of the arrival date.

Any Reservation over the amount of 100 Euro must pay 50% of the total reservation at the time the reservation is made. The 50% will be charged by the Credit card used to make the reservation.

    It was one of the best hostels we ever stayed at. The atmosphere is great! It's an apartment that was turned into a hostel, with a nice kitchen, great bathrooms and a cool-cozy common room! The staff is really nice (thanks, Stefano!!), ready to give you all the explanations you need on how to really enjoy the city - which is all within reach by walking, from the hostel. If we ever go to Barcelona again, that's the place we would stay! :)

    It was my best holiday ever! The people are nice and very helpful. They know the nice places to go in Barcelona and are very willing to help you find a place to go! The hostel was clean and looked nice. The living room is a nice place to meet new people!

    paid 5 euro deposit with my credit card and the rest of the amount had to be paid in cash upon arrival. (Which I did) Two weeks later I saw that the hostel charged the amount AGAIN on my credit card. So we were robbed!

    In my opinion - the best hostel ever! It is loceted in the heart of Barcelona, close to la Rambla. The rooms are nice and clean, the hostel has a fully equipped kitchen. The staff is great - very helpful. But the best is the atmospere - in the evenings everybody gets together like one big family :) So if you're looking for a cool place to stay and party, where you can feel totally at ease and meet a lot of great new people this is the place I would recomend.
