Arian Youth Hostel is a superb hostel. The staff is really helpful and the location of the hostel is quite good as well. I haven't used the laundrymachine, but other travellers were using it frequently so I think it is oke. I would really recommend this hostel if you are looking for a simple but great hostel. Only disadvantage there is nog airco, but there are enough fans.

It was very fun, lots of people to get to know, and good to meet fellow travellers. Easy to get to every part of barcelona with the metro stop not very far away

  3. Patrik From Finland On November 30, -0001

Very nice youth hostel, the rules say that you are not allowed to bring alcohol inside the hostel, thats about the only thing worth mentioning except theres no AC and it was like 30'c inside :) Would book again :)

Near Metro and bus stop (N6)so position outside the city center not a major issue. Not the site for organized bar crawls or other events but you can always hook onto one when in the city center (recommend Travel Port Bar). Great staff, very helpful and they are happy to circle the important areas on the map as well as tell you some of the events happening. You also meet a lot of great people. No air conditioner so be prepared to sleep in a room of half naked people including yourself. Also only one computer to share with everyone so you will not get a long time to surf around on it. It is cheap though and has a friendly atmosphere so I will definitely stay again! Love Barcelona!

This place was alright. Had free internet, clean rooms, free (though minimal) breakfast, and very helpful staff. Would stay there again, but also would recommend something closer to the city center...

I immediately felt welcomed and safe at the hostel. The staff is super nice and helpful - they give you a map and loads of tips and info. But most amazing of all - the owner basically made everything in the hostel himself - awsome work - he really put his heart into it. The bathrooms are clean, the beds are comfy and the kitchen is big. It's a great place to hang out with other travelers and get together. Though it's not exactly in the centre it's probably easier and faster to reach than anything else - the metro is just round the corner and the nightbus drops you off right in front of the door. I liked the relaxed atmosphere and can only recommend it!

The owner is a rrealy cool guy, he was worried all the time .that we have everithing we need. A group of perople went out whit him and he invited us tequila shots!!! The living room is amazing, like 4 star hotel, and the bathrooms are really clean and complete. And the price is one of the lowest in of the best hostal i ever go.
