My friend and I stayed here for 6 nights and really enjoyed it the only cons we have are that: - the towels were very dry and scratchy like sandpaper - the bunk beds were very unstable - there was a lack of breakfast variety (compared to other hostels we stayed at) - the wifi only worked in one room - there seemed to constantly be construction goin on (at one point someone decided to smash windows a couple storeys up causing glass to shatter very close to where we were) - the noise outside was very loud going into the early hours of the morning (on weekdays)
Perfect location and excelent price/quality rate! Recommended for all travellers who want a good basis to explore Lisbon!

A good and basic accommodation... one that is clean and safe. If you are looking to meet people or looking for a cool ambience, then this may not necessarily be the place for you. If these things aren't important, than Baluarte Citadino will suit you just fine.
place was ok. two really nice girls working their, really helpful. one little fag of a guy was a complete ass hole working there. just a rude person
Nice place to stay but it does not state on website that they take finger prints and I was not comfortable with this!!
Hostel staff were friendly and polite. Room was ok for the price and not too far from metro. Lack of and shabby bathroom could do with a make over
The staff was very friendly (gave us some tips for Porto too and we could print at the reception for free)The rooms were clean. The beds were not very steady though. The breakfast was basic but ok. Unfortunatly there's not a lot of space to sit to have breakfast... One PC with internet is too less. The location is near the center and metro.
It was a lovely hostel however my room however was very dusty due to construction work taking place in a side room from my bedroom. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and always eager to offer assistance.
It was a very good foothold to visit Lisbon for a few days. A good price/quality ratio hostel. Recommended!
I definitely reccommend Stay Cool Hostel. It is calm and nice place in the centre of Lisbon. Staff is very kind. I felt like at home, small and familiar accommodation... :-)
Clean and nice hostel! Staff is very kind and friendly! Breakfast is good! If it's cold outside , u need to know that they have no heater in the rooms!! (Very very cold) But if u go there in summer times - u will enjoy a very good and nice located hostel :)
