Nice hostel in the middle of Funchal. Everything (old town, port,..) can be reached within a few minutes. The staff is very friendly, the rooms clean. The kitchenette equipment is sufficient for cooking easy things (e.g.pasta). The only thing missing is a parking space, but there are different car parks nearby.
The only problem is, that according to hostelsclub.com the breakfast is included in the price, but it's not. You have to pay additional price for it.
