Very good location, nice staff, very good breakfast. Is more a hotel than a hostel, so less contact with other travellers.
Everything very good, I only would like a towel provided for bath :)
I was initially put in a mixed dorm despite having booked a single, this was sorted quite quickly but did require me being checked out for a few hours. Staff were generally very friendly and helpful. There was a lot of noise at night.

Very good quality for the price you pay! Very friendly and helpfull staff. The rooms were clean/ large enough and the in room shower was perfect. The breakfast could be compared to a ****-star hotel. Guest are mixture of youg couplles, eldery, military, students and other young tourists. The location is a 5 minutes walk from the station or city centre. I'll recommend it to everybody!

Very friendly and welcoming personnel, like people generally is in Oslo. The hotel is clean and has the best you can expect from a youth hostel (silent rooms, comfortable bathroom, warm water, comfortable beds). The breakfast is rich and abundant, but (my only negative observation) the time of meals is not so convenient (breakfast starts at 8:00 in the weekends and dinner ends very early in the afternoon). However, I recommend Perminalen to anybody comes to Oslo!
The location is very central, the rooms are clean and nice. The staff is ok, the night staff guy was really friendly. The included breakfast is a good bonus. However, because of the many different ages and the hotel-like atmosphere, it is NOT the place to go if you want to party and make friends - you only see other people briefly in the breakfast room. To me it was a good place to rest and sleep.
The hotel was nice and clean and situated at an easy walking distance from several attractions and city transport. There weren't a lot of people staying there when I was, so there wasn't much atmosphere/fun factor, hence my lower ratings. I would still recommend it.
100 points- For Very Nice receptionist. the Most Kindness person that you can imagine at the Reception!
I was in the sixth floor and I had no wifi in my room, I had to go in the living room down stair. the booking on hostelclub.com work very well I had no problem. the chekout is at 11h,

Food was very good, kind cook! Location- fine! , an Internet access in the room- fifth floor - would be advisable, because of the possibility o work. that is a big drawback.
