Before arriving at this hostel, on the morning of, I was reading up on past reviews many of which commented on the dirtiness of the rooms, thankfully I didn't have this experience. The rooms were very clean, along with the bathrooms, and they were adequate for their purpose as being a place to sleep. The only thing I would complain about was the lack of staff that seemed to understand how to work the key cards. On the first occasion, only one worked (for 2 different rooms) and we didn't realise till we were 3 flights up. The second time, one of our party asked for another key to one of the rooms and the member of staff cancelled all other keys, meaning that we had to wait up for the others coming back which defeated the purpose. I'd recommend this place as a one night stay but we prepared to have something go wrong with your key cards.
Very good for budget travellers. Was quite clean and okay!
Quite good location , not too far from the city centre. I think that in the room, the only clean things were the sheets. The floor and walls were disgusting
The wifi connection is so slow. We reserve a room in Vivaldi but we got the room at Paganini. The breakfast has limited choices. The good thing is, the staff can really speak English.
I am not giving bad notes to this hotel. The thing nis a have cancelled the reservation, but did not cancel it via HostselsClub. I did it directly contactiong the hotel.
The room was too cramp for 4 people. There's hardly any space to move around.
Not bad, but it isn't really a hotel as much as a hostel - our rooms were a few doors down the street from the actual 'hotel' reception, and we were in a dormitory where pretty much everything was broken - the beds, lights, curtains, toilet... it would have been acceptable if we had paid half of what we did, but definitely not worth what they charge.
I really do not recommand this hotel, we were not good received and the room was so expensive for what it was... actually shitty!!!!
Worst Hostel I ever been in. Reservation was the most terrible part.
cool hostel, staff really kind. the negative side is the position, as it is located not so next to the city center, but it's really close to leidesplain which is cool, too
Lovely Hotel...seconds away from train station and very helpful staff
There is a huge difference between the rooms in this hostel. We booked two rooms. One was just fine with a window overlooking the street. The other was terrible with no windows what so ever and the whole room and bathroom stank terribly. One could barely take a shower. So if you book try to get a room with a window over the street.
we stayed 4 person/private WC room. It was better than we expected, cause after our reservation we read some bad comment on hostelsclub web site. However it was a nice, simple hostel(not hotel)and it worth what we have paid. Location is good, easy to find. But try to have breakfast(which was also satisfying) as early as you can, cause their stock could be limited.
Everything was ok but for bed's cleaness
The entrance to the Hotel the whole 5 days that i was there was dirty, the hotel look unfinished. the room is very small, the bathroom is smelly, there was no soap all the 5 days and the person that clean clearly didn't mind leaving me without toilet paper too. the tax that you should pay when you get there suppose to be mention somewhere, and the breakfast definitely not a breakfast. anyways i would not come back there the stuff didn't help at all i had to find out everything by myself and help myself. So improve and a lot!!!!
Vivaldi Hotel was a little far away to the center town. The room was cold although all windows were closed and the heater was turned on. There was lack of shower gel in bathroom. But the room was clean.
the hostel is in a good position, although pretty boring. its not a place to go if you want to meet anybody, and the breakfast is pretty bad.
