Seeing I came because I had an exam the next day, made the experience a lot less fun. But the hotel itself was terrific!

Nice hostel. Quiet at night. The Staff was nice to us, helpful explaining directions etc. - The area around Leidesplein where the hostel is situated is not very cool though. Low life disco tourist scumbags and bad restaurants. Downtown Amsterdam is way cooler.

a typical hotel in amsterdam. not very clean but with a great position (near by leidsplein, "entertainment-area). if you just want a place to sleep it's okay.

A rathole. No Internet for the entire 4days, didn't change sheets once, or replace the towels, not even steal shower, just a curtain n a drain on the floor so that the whole bathroom floods every time u shower. Go somewhere else if u wanna be comfortable!!!

I would never stay in this hotel again. Got the room without any window, and it was so small. Next time when I book a room, I have to ask does it have a windows. Also, I stayed there 5 days and did not have WI-FI though it was stated it had.

I got a one person room with bath. The room was incredibly small, seriously, the smallest room i've ever been at. Besides that it was ok. I just arrived there, slept, had a shower, and left again. If that's all you need then you can get it.

Surprisingly well located hotel situated a two-minute walk from Vondelpark and five minutes to touristy "coffeeshops" like the Bulldog — precisely what we wanted! Hotel and staff smelled like marijuana but so did the rest of Amsterdam. Room was nothing special but not too bad and the location cannot be beat.

They didnt accept my Diners card after my booking and couldnt offer me a safe way to give them visa card details, the reception lady even asked me to send it via Email, which I refused. After my phonecalls and emails of trying to figure it out she cancelled my booking and called me problematic, which was very unfare and rude. So I choosed another hotel...

I think this is really more hostel than hotel it's called. Staying there was quite good but it should be much more better in cleanliness (dust on table) of room or furniture and more pleasant personal. shower floor not separated within small bathroom so we had to dry the floor with our towels after every shower. Only lazy WiFi there in the street!

Great location, next to Leidseplein. It was a neat, clean room, with nice showers; the hotel staff was really helpful with directions. The only bad thing about it was the woman at the reception who told us rather rudely we should be "on time for breakfast tomorrow, or..." - when we arrived with 15 minutes left of breakfast time. Oh, and made a point of *demanding* that we paid before we had breakfast.

Nice hotel, but avoid the single rooms, they can be hall-closets

  18. Antoine From Switzerland On November 30, -0001

Good Hotel, not far from the city but in a very quiet place. Room was correct. Curtains could be changed!

As a single traveller, received a very small room in basement. Staff helpful though and location was good.

  20. David From Germany On November 30, -0001

Just a few steps from the Leidseplein, but far enough from the noise of the City.
