This was much more than I expected. The staff was more than welcoming and helpful with any request. The room was perfect and very clean, and the location was amazing. We couldn't have been happier with our stay!
minor note, was a fellow sometimes holding down the front desk who came across as kind of grouchy... a young woman, however, greeted our early arrival in a very friendly & professional manner (and I'd put Location/Value at 100 x 10 !
Staff not great. Not very friendly and rude at times. Small rooms but cleaned daily which was very nice.
The rooms were neat and cleaned daily with fresh towels. The Asian man at reception was very cold and not very helpful. Good location though, right in front of the Van Gogh Museum but also the tram lines.
Located in the heart of Museumkwartier, it was super easy to find this hostel. Nice staff, free printing of boarding passes, museum tickets etc. Absolutely recommendable!
Are you looking for an hostel close the museums? You have it. Are you looking for a big and clean hostel? You have it. Are you looking for an expensive hostel? You have it. Are you looking for the coldest staff in the world? You have it!!! Don't ask information because the answer will be: "Check on the internet dear!".
I had a very good stay. Even though it was only for two nights, I had my towels changed and my bed set up. Toilet was nice and clean, no problems with wifi, and the location is fantastic. All in all I would definetely recomend it.
Hostel Van Gogh was great. Very clean: bathrooms are the best I've seen from a hostel setting. Rooms can be a bit crowded with 8 people sharing 1 bathroom, but you manage. Breakfast is worth the 5 Euro. Location is fantastic: Right in the heart of the big museums and very close to tramways. Great place!
Dear all, van gogh hostel is a very nice location, excellent breakfast, cappucino included, very friendly people, but in preferred season you have to pay 40 Euros per person in a 4 bed room, it was worth it, cordially Frank and family
We were a group of 7 girls and shared an 8-bed room, the room was very clean and stylish, we even loved the beds. Breakfast was okay, nothing special but good. The staff was rather unfriendly, except for one swiss girl who was really kind and helping. We would definitely come back because of the central position and the nice rooms. Although it was pretty expensive...but that probably was because of nye.
Great Hostel for group trips. Clean, great location, different types of accomodation under the same roof. Highly recommended for school trips.
It locationed near by good museams so easy to visit.

If you are a Van Gogh's fan THIS IS THE PLACE!! well its next to the museum, they have an excellent breakfast for only 5 euros, very clean, nice neighborhood, close to the traim, I totally recomend this place!
This hostel is generally good. but it's expensive
Very cleaned and nice place to stay for a few days, but also for longer periods. The only unpleasant thing that I have experienced is that sometimes its reception staff is a bit unpolite.

There nice. Only one problem: I reserved a bed in a a female room, but I was accomodated in a mix room.
