We were very satisfied with your camp as it very was close to the Amsterdam centre.

It`s really great and clean camping but quite far away from the center. But still loved the place! ;]

It is basically not in Amsterdam. Central Station is walking included about an hour from the camping ground away. And the owner is a hustler and a sexist asshole. For shower, sheets, heating and basically everything else you are paying extra on top of your plastic mattress.
Small, cold, unfriendly, shouwers outside, not central, difficult with public transportation, website is deseiving and does not give you a true impression. Very unpleasant experience.
Perfect fit for traveller who wants cheap and safe place to sleep and leave baggage. Not too far from DAM, if you´re willing to walk a little (around 1,5km to metro, which btw is the best way to travel to DAM from the hotel). If you want it comfortable, not the best choise.

it was really bad place to stay. we got a cootage with wooden walls and plastic roof. i dont recommend it in autum, maybe in summer it ok. but for us it was too cold in this cottage! its crazy that they rent this cottages in autum.
the site is way too far away from the city centre it took us about an hour each way. staff weren't very friendly either! ide go somewhere else
not clean at all; no toilet papers at all; you have to pay for everything (including heater); its not easy to get there; Calculate everything that you have to pay and compare before choosing it instead of staying in city center.
Horrible hostel manager - I've never seen customers being treated with such disrespect. Only opt for this campground if you don't have children, dogs or other potentially dangerous and noisy things... - or if you are mute and not pursuing any ball games and other disturbing activities...otherwise you will be in trouble
Fantastic, green, calm area. Even the airport is close it's unnoticeable. Great staff, they know everything about everything, have maps, information about events, communication with the centre of the city back and forward. There is small shop at the place so in a few word - great place to stay and relax. The staff thought about everything! Greetings to rabbits running around the Camping :)
Very nice hostel, bungalows, kitchen and shovers all very clean. The only minus is distance from the city centre. You have to walk 15 min. to metro station and another 40 min. to city centre. Besides the distance,you can recommend it.
It's a nice place, but kind of far away from the city. With a car is ok though. It's clean and very peaceful.I enjoyed a lot. The staff is not very kind and always try to make you pay more money. They told us for a parking place in the city for 8 eu/24 hours, but didn't mention that you have to go to the guy at the parking and check in there (you get free bikes or tram tickets when you do that), other ways you pay 3eu/hour and walk an hour to the centre or pay extra for tram. You pay for shower and sheets as well. You can use the kitchen, it's perfect for camping! I like the place!
Very nice camping, nice peoapel working there, very helpfull, nice and clean hosues, 20 min by foot to the metro station, good signs, nice and quiet. we recomended this place
A bit too far from town and a big minus for the bus that apparently wasn´t included in the public transport card so we had to pay 4€ each for a one way trip!
We didn't know the office was closing at 11 p.m. and we arrived at 10:55 p.m. so we've almost spent the first night outside. But finally it was clean and cool. Great to visit Amsterdam (a little far but if you drive a car it's perfect).
i enjoyed my stay at amterdam bostel. my onliy complaint would be the website says some cabin are heated implyiing you get free hearting whereas when you get there i was told as its summer no heating was given unkess we paid five euros for and i was with sick people who had medical conditions wich i thought was bang out of order! other than that id go back!nice bunny rabbits and even a bbq area!
