The worst experience ever! Awful place, the owners (they used to attend the place) are terrible the less hospitality people. Is too far and difficult reach transportation to translate you.

great hotel to pass some days in Venezia without getting annoyed by the crowd - very good service and room furnishing - very nice location in the countryside
It was a really nice place. The breakfast was good, the rooms were clean and had everything what you need. There was only one thing that was not that good; the staff. They couldn't answer questions, didn't know the right busses and didn't gave you options if something wasn't possible. We told them that we had to wait 30 minutes in the rain because the bus was different from what they said because it was sunday, so maybe they want to change that on their information page, they only said that we were incorrect instead of having a look at it. And there were more things like that. But nevertheless, the rooms and food were clean and we had a nice stay. So if you know how to find your way and don't mind looking things up by yourself, it's a great place to stay :)
The blond receptionist was rude and mean and no one show us the room so we did not knew there was a bulk bed for two. I was told only when I asked.
We were very disappointed with this hotel. Because we only booked for one night, they cancelled our month old reservation and gave our room to other guests who would pay more money.
Hotel Villa Dori is certainly an exceptional place. It is the only place I've ever stayed that has inspired me to get online and right a scathing review--that's how awful it is. The three hour sojourn from the train station to the hotel by public bus was like an absurdist comedy it was so confusing. It's really in the absolute middle of nowhere for your average tourist--perhaps this is fine if you have a car, but for us it was terribly inconvenient. Far more importantly however, the staff members--the two women who worked at the front desk--were really the rudest people I encountered in my entire trip to Italy...and really the meanest people I can remember encountering in quite a while...They made what could be a lovely facility feel like a prison. Additionally, the three euro charge for a half hour of wifi seemed like icing on the cake of poor service.
Wonderful atmosphere, location, breakfast except the fact that the TV didn't work even when the host came to try to find a channel.....
this is the worst hotel ever, i tried to cancell bc it was so far from any civilization and i never got my money back and they charged me for the room when i "cancelled" 2 weeks before, dont book here, find another hotel!!
The hotel has an efficient transport service and it only take 15mins to arrive to Venice center. Very good breakfast and clean rooms. Very satisfied and good value for me.

This place was really clean and great for the price, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The only drawback was the location, it was not very convenient for seeing the main part of venice (the island).
Generally the hotel is ok. The staff is very nice and helpful and knows English well. They are happy to give you any hints concerning the famous sights you should visit and nice places where you can eat or drink something cheap, delicious and famous for this region.
The Hotel was GREAT!!! The Staff was wonderful - Nenad was SOOO helpful and put up with my MANY questions! :) I would recommend this to everyone and if I come back to Venice, I would love to stay at the Villa Dori again!! Thanks for everything - S. Mohon
A great hotel, except a bit out of the way in Mestre. The bus was easy to catch to the train. The staff was very friendly and offered to drive us everywhere in the shuttle. The room was beautiful.

Hotel is excellent. Breakfast cost additional 7€ and it is worth of every penny. Recommend to everyone!
Nice hotel, friendly staff, very quiet. Breakfast is not included, but is good value.
Maybe it's not so close to the centre of Venice but there is a bus 53 near the hotel and then 30 minut to the city.
