Vesta Residence - Rome, Italy

I've never seen such a bad hotel like this. Especially staff was so rude. They opened the door while we were sleeping without a knock or apologize. I hated them.

Assessment is positive. Very good location - close to bus stops, train station and metro (line B), so its really good to people who want sightseeing. Staff is ok, but its hard to talk with them in english.The biggest drawback is noise outside the window. The hostel is located near to very busy street. If you open the window, you can not sleep. If you close the window is so stuffy, that you can not sleep. The only solution is: the ears stoppers.

It is really bad that this B&B claims to be B&B as there is not breakfast!!! actually the name on the door is Bed end Breakfast!!! END?? I guess it is beacuse it is indeed the end of the breakfast! the first night was TERRIBLE!!! they didnt give us a ventilator so we had to keep the window open...the noice was too much as there is a main road in the rooms side!!! we didnt sleep one second! they also promised 4 beds and we got 2 normal beds and one double bed mmm... not the same for sure!

ıt is awful!! dont go there.. it is written that there is internet but there isnt! it is far away from centre,rooms are dirty,bathroom is awful,personnels dont know english,they didint see our reservation from internet and they want more money from us..ı think everywhere is better that this 'residence'! we made a mistake.. dont do the same thing.

It was nice hostel.peoples are so nice. but I wish that toilet and bathroom is more than one.

The place is near the subway, but far from the main places, wich is great if you wanna have rest from the crown that lives in rome. the staff is always hidden, except for the cleaning lady. Nice bed. Traffic road outside, is near a highway.

The only good thing about the hotel is its location. It was very confusing to find the hotel, the staff doesnt speak any other language but italian, getting a confirmation that we paid was a challenge and it was everything but clean. And for example, it wasnt possible to lock the shared bathroom. The worst thing were parasites, probably bed-bugs. I got terribly bitten and I got rash all over my body. The price was okey, but if you wanna keep your health, stay somewhere else. Next time I would rather stay under a bridge;-)

Po przyjeździe okazało się, że nie ma dla nas pokoju na 2 pierwsze noce mimo rezerwacji (kazano nam na 2 noce przenieść się do innego hotelu - Salus, gdzie nie było włączonego ogrzewania-byliśmy w listopadzie-ani ciepłej wody...),z kobietą, która nam otworzyła zerowy kontakt-mówiła tylko po włosku...nie odpowiedziano mi na maila przed moim przyjazdem, opis sposobu dojazdu, który dostałam na maila nie dotyczył wcale Vesty. W łazience nie ma jednych drzwi, więc po prysznicu potem płynie rzeka. Na koniec dorzucę jeszcze bardzo duże,ale przeraźliwie skrzypiące łóżko:)Pozytywy:cena, czysto, blisko do metra i stacji kolejowej, jeśli ktoś lubi to jest TV i to chyba tyle...

This place is disgusting! There is no breakfast and no internet connection, although according to description on the web side there should be. There is no common room. No kitchen. The owner is just rude. Hostel is located right beside very busy road and there is huge noise even in the night. Beds are uncomfortable - you can feel every spring. Moreover, you can't feel safe because every room have the same key! You can open any room with your key, you can even use the key from the toilet. So you have to take all you precious belongings with you when leaving the room. This place is the worst hostel I have ever been!

good as a cheap accomodation. you have to be on the specified time because staff is not allways around, so there would be no one to open up for you. bathrooms are not to clean.

Hello, there were several problems. The first night, we arrived at 19h and a woman said to us that there is a problem and we have to go in an other hotel more far and we have to take an other time the metro and try to find this hotel (but it was good hotel but this change is not good). And the second night it's ok but nobody to welcome us and to have the keys (we wait 30 minutes) and we wait one hour before to go the last day.

Well-placed (walking distance from Colosseo), close to metro. Major stuff speaks Italian only (but friendly). Rooms are pretty nice and clean but facilities are not. No parking but still posiible to find a place nearby. Acceptable for its price.

We were there on July, so it was very hot, however Vesta Residence do not have air conditioners in their rooms- that was horrible. Staff- do not understand English at all, also she cancelled our reservation. Nevertheless, she carried us a better place for the same price, so we forgave her :)

It was a very terrible experience at the Vesta Residency. They promised us a 4 bedroom room with private WC. It didnt have a private bathroom and the only 'one' common bathroom was neither clean nor had proper door for the bathtub. And we had to wait in the queue to get in the bathroom. In Rome where it was burning hot like a chimney they provided us a fan which wasn't even working properly. To add to it I had mailed them 2 days before to change the time of check in. I mailed twice in english and once in Italian and got no response from them. I suggest you better remove this hostel from your list of hostels if you want to keep up the reputation and reliability of your website.

There is no internet connection.

NO BREAKFAST! "bed and breakfast without breakfast" thats what the lady told me at the first day. It is near to the station/metro Tiburtina but it was very loud because of the street "nomentana". the windows are very old and therefore we couldn't sleep longer as 7/8 o'clock. the bathroom was old (a bit broken down) but clean. the staff was very unfriendly and they smoked (pot) in the corridor. it was very cheap. for young peole its ok...

Good hostel for good price. Bathroom was not so clean, once we entered room it didn't look very nice, but it was clean and quite. I was satisfied.

it is cheap so you can not expect too much.The staff know only one word of english : "pay"

We have booked our room there, but when we arrived in the morning the girl told us that she had some "unexpected prenotations" and that we could not stay in the room we had booked. so she gave us the adress of one hotel in Rome and she told us that she had already called to make a prenotation for us. in the end we got a room there, but we had to go there, find it again.... and what the hell, if i book a room, i dont think it is normal to send me away!!!

To be honest, I expected something more. 1. No free breakfast, it cost 3 euro. 2. No Internet access. 3. Unfriendly staff speaking no foreign language. Actually it is not a hostel, in the meaning I got used to, at all. The only advantage is the cleanness. I do not recommend it to you.
