The place is good and clean with a nice location but do not expect to leave your luggage there or take the advice that it will only cost you 5 euros to keep it in the train station for 10 hours. We asked if we could keep our bags for some hours after our check-out and the answer was no with a really bad advice that says " it will only cost you 5 to 7 euros to put it in the train station for 10 hours " .. well it costs like 30 euros to do that for some hours so basically if you have bags and want to leave them somewhere while you walk around while waiting for your flight after your check-out just go for a hotel from the start it would be cheaper and better when you add the city taxes and the cost of leaving your bags in the station ..

I would not recommend this place in the summer as it has no air conditioning nor a fan. Only the window was left open for ventilation and out source of 'breeze' if there is any.

  3. Jamileh From USA On November 30, -0001

Pretty good location. About a 25 minute walk to the coliseum and about a 10 to 15 walk from a main train station. The breakfast coupons are super helpful and so is the owner.

The place was great and the host was nice as well. It's in a great location, I would suggest figuring out the buses and metro for further activities such as the Vatican because that can be a lengthy walk. When I first arrived, the bathroom was very clean, but as the stay progressed there didn't seem to be consistent maintenance, but that could have been from the other guests using the bathroom as well. Overall very satisfied and I would certainly recommend staying here!

The light plus the fan in our room didn't work and we didn't get to stay in the place we were actually supposed to. Not bad though.

Good option for staying in Rome. One of the appartements of the hostel in which I was staying, just had one bathroom for 10 people and no kitchen - but ok for a short time.

  8. Volha From Germany On November 30, -0001

Double beds are very uncomfortable and there is only one bathroom for two rooms ( 8 people if fully booked). The location is relatively central and there are a couple of amazing restaurants there.

  9. Susana From Portugal On November 30, -0001

Very well reception by the staff. Good location (about 10/15 min walking from termini)

  10. Barbara From Poland On November 30, -0001

The hostel is very good localized, 5 minutes walking from Collosseo, it's clean and nice, but there is no common area, neither a kitchen and just one bathroom for 3 rooms it's a little bit insufficient

I had stayed with a friend of mine in a double bedroom with shared bathroom for one night only. We were looking for a cheap but good located accommodation and Poliziano Inn turned out to be the best option due to his position. It is just five minute-walk from the Vittorio Emanuele underground stop and less than 10 minute-walk from the Colosseum and Via dei Fori Imperiali. I would truly reconsider it as an option to stay if I had to go back to Rome again.

It was a nice bedroom just a little hard beds and no mirror. And nothing to hang your towles on in the bathroom, But dispite that we can really recomande it, priceworth!!

We had a perfect stay in the city of Rome. The location very close to most of the items.A little bit noisy with open window. But nice and clean!

    excellent position

  15. Miriam From Germany On November 30, -0001

Very nice, pretty small and just on one Etage, but calm and clean. Reception is nice, just sometime not there if you need. Location is good, not the best one but Central and Ok!

No lockers, no 24 reception but you can arrange meeting hours with the staff, no soap for washing the hands in the bathroom and not enough toilet paper, poor breakfast, overpriced price for leaving your luggage after 2 pm (5 euros) but before 2 pm it is for free. Friendly staff. The hostel is near the Colosseum, but it is 20-30 minutes walk to the other sites. There are many shops around the area. It is safe to return late at night (from via Merulana). Considering the price It is ok!

Actually we didn't stay in Poliziano. Owner moved us to other hostel "Art in Accommodation". Pros: Location is very good. Room clean and big. Owner gives coupons for breakfast that is in the bar 10 min fast walk. Cons: the most dissapointing was shower. I had to choose between cold water and very small jet of warm one.

muy bueno!! economico, limpio, a dos cuadras del coliseo, la zona es genial, unica critica, el desayuno es solo de 8 y media a 9 y media, y ni un segundo despues

  19. Youngeun From South Korea On November 30, -0001

At least the place that I stayed, there was no lobby. Also the staffs were not always in the hostel so we had to call them or wait for them when we need a help. location is good but breakfast time is too short, 1hour.

  20. Ricardo From Honduras On November 30, -0001

Best Location. I came into Rome to the train station and walked 7 mins to the Inn from there 5 mins to the Colosseum. The location is safe and has many good restaurants around.( Bar Ornelli my reccomendation). A good bed to sleep.
