Litus is property of the Common of Rome and is under protection of Cultural Heritage Ministry.The hostel is located just in front of the beach and is one of the biggest hostel in the City with over 120 beds in clean and spacious rooms with private bath, TV color and sea views. Litus Hostel was completely renovated in 2006 and resides in a relaxing atmosphere entitling each guest with an enriching experience and comfortable stay. It offers top competitive services in a modern and immaculate setting; buffet breakfast, internet access, pool table&ping pong room, linens, lockers, luggage storage and private parking—are all free of charge.

Daily maid services are also free of charge, with laundry facilities on the premises, and a reception on staff 24 hours a day for your convenience.

In addition, the hostel offers films shown in their movie theatre, and a short distance to the famous archeological excavations of Ostia Antica.

The location is quaint, right on the seafront in Ostia, in the 13th district of Rome, only a few miles from Rome’s primary Airport, Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci)

    Everthing was fine, breakfast was ok but bread was old and not fresh, staff was great and cooperative, sheats had some dust on it, but generaly the place look clean and I will reccomend it to all of my friends. Special thanks for instructions from airport, thats great!

    Excellent value for the money. A little out of the way for "Rome" sight seeing but accessable via metro and public busses. Close to beach, restaurantes. Must have Euros, most places will not take credit cards.

    Very nice place close to the beach if you want to stay away from the tourists in the city. Close to Ostia Antica, ancient city ruins worth visiting! Breakfast was a joke though, I bought my own for the second day.

    Had a great time. Hostel is right by the beach. Good stuff for a reasonable price. Half the staff is helpful and the other half isn't. Good directions.

    Amazing hostel, situated just on the beach, lots of restaurants around it. It takes about 10 minutes by walking to get to the train station and about half an hour by train to get to the center of Rome. The staff is helpful and friendly.
