Excellent location. Less than 5 mins walk from the Termini station, so easily connected to any site by metro. Good Staff , friendly and helpful. couldn't find a coffee machine in the hostel. but coffee bars can be found near by.
Owner/reception very nice,helpful & friendly. Room itself was clean but bathroom was quite used. It looks better on pictures. wifi was there but it wasnt working properly as so the fridge. Good that room was cleaned every day, we also had towels changed. Great location, but not so quiet. If you accept those shortcomings I can recommend :)
Place was great and clean, couldn't expect something better than that.. Prize wise also great. I would recommend it to everyone. Enjoy.
We had a great time in casa di penelope rooms werecompletely refurbished as described and really clean.The room is cleaned by the staff every single day. Its more like a hotel than a hostel. Tottaly recommended Thanks a lot!

During my 1-week stay, I found staff very helpful, providing clean room & linens; bed is soft & comfortable that can help to relieve tiredness during trip; room with good lightings & large windows; easy to find, just near the train station hub
all of this is good room is very big,clean near train station and conveneien except about wifi internet is serve about 1st floor (main room) but he have any room in this Bld. Anyway i think i really reccomment for every traveller :)
Nice place, very near from the train station (Roma Termini) and Metro. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. No breakfast.
A little hard to find it (the "reception" is on 1st floor). Room was nice and clean also the bathroom. Each day was made a bed and empty trash. Staff was kind. Hotel is about 3 minutes by walk form Subway (Termini Line A/B), Railway station and bus stop for journey to airport. (Fiumicino,Ciampino) Me and my girlfriend were really satisfied We didn't have a breakfast so I can't rate this. I recommend this hotel
The window ceiling wasn't working properly and one bed sheet for a double bed was a bit weird but despite that we ha d a really good time. It was small, but cosy and at a good place, it was exactly what we were looking forward to.

A Casa di Penelope is nothing more and nothing less than what it it advertised to be: a place to spend the night while visiting Rome. The location is great - 5 minutes from the Rome central station, the room is clean (although I expected it to be bigger) and the staff is friendly (Thanks, Babu!). I expected it to be more cozy - there were no carpets or curtains, but all in all, it was allright.
the staff was not friendly and helpful plus they treated badly.. Even though it is a bed and breakfast hostel, be aware of they may not serve breakfast.
This hostel/apartment has an excellent location, which is just minutes walk away from Termini train station. It is surrounded with restaurants and only 10 minutes away from the supermarket. The staff, Babu, is extremely helpful and friendly. Never says no when you requested something and is ready to answer you questions anytime. My trip with my family was pleasant thanks to the hospitality of this place. Will definitely go again and recommend this place to other place.
Its is very close to the center of Rome and its pretty easy to get there by bus or tram. So a good place to be for little money. But its strange that the owner wants you to pay the deposit of 10% again. You also need to know that you have to pay 2€/person per day.
I was in Casa di Penelope 4 days in July with my two friends. Very, very nice place. White, comfortable, clean room with bathroom. It was good place for rest after busy day in hot, noisy, crowdy Rome. Super! Good idea with modern equipment in so old city. Our landlord was really helpful and friendly for us. Thank you!
This is a quality accommodation mainly for those who are looking for a comfortable and clean room, without the hassle of a busy hostel. The only minus is the lack of coffee-making opportunity in the morning.
Very comfortable, the bathroom had some troubles but the staff solved it very well.
