This is one of the worst hostel type of hotels where they don't provide a towel and charges 2 euros for you to have a towel in your room/toilet.This place mainly used for housing migrants.I will not my right sense recommend this place to my friends or anyone,
We really appreciate our stay at the hostel. You ll find a common hostel accommodation. It is clean and near to the station, the crew is friendly and cool. The internet connection just broke down when we ve been there, but they had been working on it. I personally enjoyed the stay especially because its a place where u also can meet refugees who are staying there as well. Its a nice opportunity to meet people who have gone through a lot of trouble just for a chat or just to meet at all. And girls, don't worry: its a nice save place
Walls are paper-thin (you can hear your neighbours breathing, not to mention snoring), hot water available between 2-5pm most of the time it's simply ice cold so forget about an evening or morning shower; internet worked occassionally, and so slowly that it's impossible to check anything.
Optimal position and very good prices. Be awared tho that there is no air conditioning in the rooms, and during the summer it can be pretty uncomfortable to sleep in the dorms

Difficult journey from airport. Walk to bus stop, try not to get run over. No dire tons to underground. I was walking round an unsafe area. Finally found underground. Lots of steps. Virtually no English spoken. Train is 4 stops. Long walk up a hill to the hostel. Again little English spoken. Older man unfriendly and didn't explain anything. Although he did change my room and show me how the shutters worked. They don't cater for English speaking tourists and are disinterested
The place is nice the two serious issues are: members of staff know little English so they are not as helpful as you might expect and the internet doesn't work. Plus "complimentary Italian breakfasts" means a coffee and a piece of bread with jam.
For the price, it was a good deal (had it not been for my difficulties with the metro strikes). But both the inside and outside areas surrounding the building are not beautiful at all. But it was very clean (I'm not sure if that had to do with the fact not many people were staying at the time). It only takes about 5 minutes to walk to the metro station which is convenient if there are no strikes. When I stayed, there were strikes on the line leading from this metro station to the naples central station for two of the three days I was there. It was very inconvenient trying to get from here to the central areas (to the historic center of naples and to naples central station you need to get to many major spots like pompeii, etc.) If you are really considering this hostel and If you want to use the metro as your main means of transportation getting to central naples, I recommend you check when the strike are. But if you have the money for taxis or are bus savvy (there are many buses and bus stops so it could be a bit confusing knowing which one to get on) then it shouldn't be an issue. I lost lots of time because of the metro not running and me not wanting to spend the extra for expensive taxis and taking a while to figure out the buses. The staff were ok- not particularly friendly, but not unfriendly either.
....their attentiveness to customers is what I would expect from an eastern block country....not Italy...apathy or ignorance...the results are the same....
Great place. Although to go for the first time it is a little hiden, once you know the way is easy.Things to improve: breakfast is free but small. dont miss the splendid view from the terrace, priceless!!!
Very good position, close to Mergellina metro and train station, one minute walking. 5 minutes to the waterfront
central to napoli attractions. easy to access from central station. difficult to find from train station though. says hostel mergellina on hostel not ostello di napoli. resonable priced food. very helpeful staff. friendly. recommend.
good place good attendance. hostelling international strandard respected. the hostel is quite far from the center and difficult to find but these are details. really good in general. cautin taxi by night from the station with 2 luggages should be approximately 15 euros!
Really good place, a bit far from the center but thats okay couse there is good pizzerias and the metro station near by :) Metro takes you easily to center and other places you want to visit. Good view from the hotel!
marvellous place and staff
In quiet area near the Vatican, Lots of rooms and toilets, great lounge area and the kitchen. Comfortable beds, but you only get a very thin blanket and an extra sheet if you ask for it 3 times. In april I had to sleep in my clothes
I like the reception,they were very nice to us. The beakfast wasn't nice but well, I get what i pay.

fine hostel in convenient location, close to the Mergellina underground station. Clean and rather cheap, recommended for students! And what a nice and helpful staff!
