As good as it gets for its price. Friendly environment with lots of activities to meet new people and explore the several pubs Dublin has to offer. We had a blast, no inconveniences of any kind except for the kitchen, which was not operable at the time.

we will definitely recommend Jacobs Inn, it is well connected to the city centre. the staff is wonderful and we did feel at home!

  3. Shannon From USA On November 30, -0001

Really awesome hostel. The staff was lovely and the room (although large) was nice and cozy. It really is in the center of the city and also close to the train station and bus station. I would definitely stay here again!

Jacobs Inn was recommended to us by a friend and we loved our stay there! For four days we stayed in the 12-bed mixed dorm and then the 10-bed. The place was clean, helpful staff, location is good (a bit far from the fun bars in Temple Bar but really close to Conolly rail station). Definitely take the free Dublin walking tour. Hilarious guide and lots of interesting info. Great hostel, would definitely stay here again.

Nothing wrong with this place, good location, good beds, clean.... Just very large and felt a little impersonal. Bit noisy too - but what do you expect in a party town like Dublin!

  6. Abigail From USA On November 30, -0001

Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Excellent location, 5 min from the train station, 2 minutes from the airport bus, 5 min from the O'Connel bridge. Can't beat that!

Greatest hostel ever! Very very clean, nice people... what else? Amazing!

    Just great place!!!

  9. Katrina From USA On November 30, -0001

Very nice hostel. :) Lots of amenities! My only complaint was my living companions; I would have preferred not to be in a room with a large travel group composed of men.

nice, practice... For breackfast maybe you can put the toaster in another place (and not at the beginning), it is rally too long to wait even if we dont want to toast ;)))

very loud- on the floor as well as from outside- I expect a room for 70E to be cleaner and more silent. Awful breakfast situation (not enough space, dirty cups, etc.)

  13. Giovanni Marco From Italy On November 30, -0001

Everything was good. I and my girlfriend enjoyed it. Expecially, it's very near to busaras bus station: this really makes the difference.

  14. Russ From England On November 30, -0001

Had a very tasty meal and all staff were friendly and helpful!!

  15. MICHAEL From USA On November 30, -0001

The place itself was good; the facilities were some of the best I've seen. The people at the front desk, however, were not very friendly. Overall, the location and facilities make it worth the stay.

  16. Kestutis From Lithuania On November 30, -0001

the order is too strict, reduces the fun factor to almost minimum.and charged the credit card even though the cash was paid! so something is always happening, that does not let you completely ralax and enjoy the stay, even after the stay is over. hopefully it will be sorted out

  17. Daniel From Switzerland On November 30, -0001

Hotel is ok, breakfast was low choice but good food. Quite clean and organized. Finally bad guests, can turn any shared room to a bad choice.

  18. Gunilla From Sweden On November 30, -0001

A very nice stay in a quiet but still central part of wonderful Dublin. Forget breakfast, it was just awful. The "food", the style, the breakfast room and the personell is nothing we want to see again......
