Overall, the hostel was great. It had a vibrant atmosphere and cool ambience. Although I must say that it is not too close to the centre of Budapest if you plan to walk only.

  2. Pawel From Poland On November 30, -0001

A hostel close to the city centre, very well localized near the metro station, tramways and big shopping centre. There is a problem with parking place, only on the very narrow street, where finding a place is a miracle. Staff speaks English on a communicative level. The cleanliness of bathrooms is not good enough, maybe because of many people stayng there.

  3. raluca From Romania On November 30, -0001

Good accomodation and really cheap price - for a couple of nights , it's a really good place to stay. The location is central, which helps a lot

The staff was very nice & helpfull. He gave us indications and a map of Budapest. The beds were good & rooms were clean. They have a big kitgchen and living room, perfect to acomodate as much guests as posibile. There is a 2 euro tax for staying just 1 night.

  8. Edvin Robert From Romania On November 30, -0001

A lovely older man greeted us and showed us where we'll stay. It was warm and quiet. The beds were comfy and clean. It also has a living room with billiard and table soccer and lots of pamflets about Budapest. It is very close to a metro station and to the Danube. A lovely and cheap place to stay.

location is a little bit far (looking from Deli Budapest railway station), but anyway for that price, I would definitely recommend it. (regards, ns)

  14. Bilal From Israel On November 30, -0001

I am sorry but the hostel it's was so bad and dirty....and i am so sad because any person must to pay tax 3 euro (the price without the Tax)

  15. Anna From Russia On November 30, -0001

We were always waiting for the receptionist. Though he was really friendly but he was almost never on the reception. No toilet paper. Quite old but generally totally ok for its price. Bikes are offered for renting but they were too old so even the receptionist didn't give us them.

  16. McDonald From Malawi On November 30, -0001

Slow in attending to guests Reception usually unmanned Needs renovation

  17. vedrana From Croatia On November 30, -0001

It's close to nice square where is shopping center and cinema and nice coffee bar.Cleaning is not done so often, no toilet paper.

  18. Hedvig From Hungary On November 30, -0001

everything was fine though i found the rooms a bit too small the beds too close therefore too much noise when someone is up.apart from that it's a clean hostel, friendly staff, good location.

  19. Jovana From Serbia On November 30, -0001

This hostel is perfect, it has everything, it's situated near the centre. The rooms are clean, with hot water in the bathrooms, it has a great living room and a kitchen. Also, there is the Internet and there are several available computers. Zoltan (the owner) is such a nice man, who told us what to see and visit, how to travel through the city. If I go to Budapest again, I will definitely go there, to Mandarin!

  20. Vincent From Switzerland On November 30, -0001

Mandarin Hostel is globally OK except for the bathrooms that would need to be cleaned more often.
