nice room and most of the Staff, good location, from point of view of sightseeing. breakfast: poor choice
We stayed at Corvin Hostel. I would not recommend this place. We found one bug in our room and one at the reception desk that I think was a cockroach. We were very careful about keeping our suitcases closed and not eating in the room.
The room was facing the busy and noisy street, although it was supposed to be overlooking the internal tarase. Also, it was next to the reception, so we were getting awaken by ringing phone and loud conversation at 6am.
Great location - just in the center of Budapest. Close to metro station. Breakfasts as for extra 4.5 euro are quite poor. English speaking staff. Rooms are clean and cosy.
I stayed at Centrooms for one night with 3 friends of mine. The hostel is very nice we got a 4 bedded private room. I highly recommend this play! There were only a couple of troubles that we had to deal with: 1) they didnt accept credit cards so they asked us to pay cash. 2) There was no parking slots, so we had to leave our car in private parking.
Everything Was perfect. Highly recomendable!
Staff were super friendly! Rooms were nicer than I expected, clean and simple decor but effective. Would be very happy to stay again!
It is a really nice place, located very good strategically. Was good to have our own bath - for the price of a room w/. Our room also had a kitchen corner. I will definitely recommend it further :)
I was in Budapest in Centrooms hostel three months ago and I really have to say,that the hostel was perfectly situated in downtown. In spite of this that was such a quiet place,really perfect! Imagine you are in the downtown,but during the night there is no noise,no cars you can hear,no lights from the street because you are in such a lovely hidden backyard with flowers in the window a apartments above you.The reception is really close and the staff is really willing to help you with everything you need and ask for. SO,to summarize it-perfect position,cleanless about 80%,staff very willing,rooms perfectly equipped with everything from hair-dryer,through towels,wardrobes,blankets atc.And one of the most important element-the price? Really cheap and adequate to what thay offer.So do not hesitate and go there for sure-it worths of it! Diana
