Bara Guest House is centrally located, on highway M1 and M7, yet in the lushgreen belt of the city, 400 m from Elisabeth bridge close to Buda Castle and Citadella/Gellért Hill, only 2 minutes from citycenter. The bus stop (for 2 bus lines) is about 15 meters from the hotel and the bus goes to the center in every 5 minutes. The Bara Guest House is connected to the main building (Hotel Bara) through a corridor ( 50 meters ) with a few stairs. In this building we
have 2-3-4 bedded comfortable rooms with private bathroom. Also it has the same hotel facilities (bar, restaurant, reception.)

    Fairly cheap but then you get less for your money than you would expect. The room was very poorly furnished, especially the bathroom and it was not clean at all. Would not recommend.

    Very nice hotel, you can get very nice and clean room with very decent price. the location is few stations away from chain bridge in the buda side. very convienient to acees szell kalman ter as well with tram 61.

    Nice place to stay! I would recommand it to everyone, because it's fine for young as well as for eldest people. The guesthause is near the tram stop,it is clean, the staff is friendly!

    The bara guesthouse is close 15 min walking distance to city centre, nice rooms but you can have heating problems in the winter time, over all the hotel worth to stay.

    Great place on Budim side! Good value for price. Cheap and clean. Also has a garage, so you car is safe.

    very warm rooms in summer....no air- con...bring fan. located well in Bud but all night-life is in Pest so long walk or expens. taxi away. certainly adequate

    the hostel is very clean and the heating is great.the rooms are small and cozy.The distance from center is 25min by foot.i recommend that place.

    We really enjoyed stay in BARA hostel, very polite stuff, room was clean, not so far from reception, good breakfast, near the hotel is a pub, which is open till 24:00. Its not so far from city center, but better than walking is to catch bus n. 8 (to Pest- Vaci utca). The only minus was very thin walls- you can hear everything what is happening outside the door. In generally- very nice hostel for very good price. We recommend!
