Good hostel, well located near the metro station!

  2. Do Quang From Vietnam On November 30, -0001

One of the best hostel i stayed in! The staff was really helpfull and had a good and usefull tips about the city. Our room had a balcony which was looking for the famous Andrassy avenue! I could relaxed there very well! Nothing could go wrong if you stay in this hostel!

  3. Heleen From Netherlands On November 30, -0001

It was just a normal youth hostel with shared bathrooms which weren't free of hairs, but weren't dirty. The staff wasn't always very friendly, but they helped us very well with the booking of a ticket to the spa. The hostel was very noisy and the people coming back from Sziget at 3 am unfortunately disturbed our sleep. But we were happy to stay in a hostel so perfectly in the centre and close to the tram and underground.

  4. Sibel From Netherlands On November 30, -0001

I really do not have any negative comments about this hostel. The location was really good: close to the metro-station (always positive for arrival and departure with -heavy- luggages). The Avenue on which the Hostel was situated gave me a safe feeling, also during the night. The rooms felt spacy, even if I shared the room with 12 people, because of the high ceiling. + Very CLEAN and newly restorated I think. + Lockers! Good system

  5. Rostislav From Czech Republic On November 30, -0001

We were in this hostel for 2 nights and it was just enough. The position of this hostel is very good, just few steps from the underground. The staff - again no problem except one thing. We were in double-private room, which is next to the reception and every night the receptionist was watching movie or listening music very loudly. As well the other visitors were very noisy. The doors were useless in acoustic insulation and it was hard to sleep before 12pm. In fact, it was really irritating and hard to fall asleep in this hostel. On the other hand, the kitchen was well-equiped, there were always enough warm water to shower and was no problem to leave luggages after check-out. The tidiness of shared bathrooms was average, however I don´t thing they were tidying every day...Double-bed privat room is small, but enough to sleep and move. The view is to the old court, so better don´t look:-) To sum up, I would not return to this hostel, because it was not so perfect that it would be hard to find something better. But it wasn´t disaster as well. I would say better average.

  9. goran From Montenegro On November 30, -0001

There are no keis to lock the room. Hostel did not provide key for locker in the room (dorm of 8), so nobady could use lockers, and we have to put staff everyvere on the floor. I asked to live my backpack because i arrived early in the morning and when I coame back i discovered that rooom was not locked at all. There are many local Hungarian people in Hostel, they watch TV on Hungarian (hostel gest do not understend it) and make noise even after midnight.

  10. Oliwia From Poland On November 30, -0001

The Adagio Hostel is in a really great place, 15 minutes walking to most important places in Budapest. Staff was very kind and helpful. The only drawback was a big hole near the ceiling in room for 2, from where the light and voice was coming.

  11. Julius From Germany On November 30, -0001

There was supposed to be Silence after 11:00 PM, unfortunatelly it was not ensured by the supervisors. If you arrive too early it's possible to leave your luggage in a special room. Unfortunatelly this room is not closed by keys and I have seen someone there, who didn't belong to the staff. Its just about 30 minutes to downtown Budapest by walking. All in all a nice hostel, which is pretty nice and quite clean. It has four 'public' toilets (one of them had no toilet papet one day, 2 of them are very small rooms) and three shower rooms

  12. Srdjan From Bosnia And Herzegovina On November 30, -0001

the hostel is really great, so as staff. location is very attractive, there is a lot of young and funny people there. nice, warm and clean. i will definitely come back soon...

  13. Maria From Portugal On November 30, -0001

We were a couple and stayed only for one night, didn't even see the kitchen. The wc wasn't as clean as it could be and there was a lot of dust under the bed, but besides that, the sheets were clean and the girl who welcomed us was helpfull. Good value for money, one can't ask for more since we payed 8€/person for a private room.

  14. Theresa From Germany On November 30, -0001

A cute little Hostel in a good position in Pest. The staff is really friendly and helps you with every question you got. It´s clean there and you got to know a lot of nice people.....really recomendable

  15. Arkadiusz From Poland On November 30, -0001

Yet small, but very nice place. Settled in the Jewish district in the very stylish tenement house which creates an unique climate of the place. Very helpful staff - I was able to left my luggage for the whole day and use the kitchen even though I wasn't spending another night in the place.

  16. Marzena From Poland On November 30, -0001

There was no window in our room (not shown on the room description). It is quite annoying if you can't distinguish between day and night time, especially in the morning. Apart from that everything was OK.

  17. Nikola From Croatia On November 30, -0001

Nice little hostel, comfortable and clean. You can come there by foot , it's 20 only minutes away from the main railway station . It's very cheap and they were very helpful,i could leave my luggage there even the day i checked out.
