Great value for money but building is a bit old fashioned and neighborhood is not the best.

  2. CHO LOUNG From South Korea On November 30, -0001

Room and bathroom all things are good. However, location is really closed to haupbanhof, so it's good, but hotel around is little bit not good. But staff are also so kind

I stayed at a three-bed room here just for one night. The front stuff was kind enough to let my bag checked-in in spite that I got here earliar than the check-in time. There were only two people who stayed the room, so everything was comfortable, cozy, and quiet. And this hostel was the only one that gave us a piece of bath towel all of the ones that I had ever stayed in. The problem were that the shower room was small and had no hook to hang towel and other things or shelf to put shampoo, soap, etc. And the drain system in the shower room was a little bit bad. Breakfast was basically good but only orange juice tasted bad. Totally, I liked this hostel and want to stay here again.

Very clean, very good atmosphere, dignified, close to main station (but also to sex-shop district, however neighborhood seems safe). Very nice staff, an absolute most !!!

The YMCA is a very clean hostel. They provide free linen, towels, and a breakfast every day. They are probably the cheapest hostel (I booked the night before) in Munich. They are very christian, as in they have rules about girls and guys not being in the same room unless they are married, but they didn't seem to be enforced. There is literally nothing to do there for fun. I recommend you go to another hostel for a good bar. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall I recommend you stay there. Also it is located next to a lot of strip clubs and casinos. Ironic huh?
