The own place i choose when i go to Berlin
Great hideaway! In the middle of the forest.
We had a very nice stay The rooms were clean, linnen was fresh Breakfast was simple but sufficient We recomand this place if you don't need a hotel but a nice place to stay
Everything is more than excellent. Thank you Gülnur!
I think JetPak Eco Lodge Berlin will be my new home when I'm here in Germany for my entire life. Thank you Neil!
Absolutely loved this hostel. After traveling for the better part of a month, mostly staying in large cities, this was the perfect getaway. Take daily walks through the woods while still being walking distance to the nearest grocery store and a number of resteraunts. The bus line can get you to central Berlin quickly as well. A very good balance of being away from the noise and near the action.
Poor communication. I tried to cancel my 2 night booking, but the hostel never replied so I paid in full for both days.
Quiet, clean, friendly staff, goog coffee, very reasobably priced--just perfect.
I think it would be better if the bathroom is brighter.
They didn’t let us check out, we called and knocked and no one answered so we lost 10€ even though we still had the cards. The girls bathroom was pretty unclean and there were a lot of spiders in our room. However, the beds were comfortable and big and they had a cute dog.
A little gem hidden in the woods: Clean rooms, a nice garden with BBQ and deck-chairs to relax in the sun. Ideal for visitors to the Free University or to Potsdam, rather remote to get to the center.
Very good hostel with nice staff members. I will definitely recommend this place for everyone!
The place was amazing. More importantly, the person who owned the lodge was just brilliant and helpful and really sweet. I'd recommend everyone to stay at the lodge if they are in Berlin.
In love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Location not convienient
This hostel defenitely made for introvert non-clubbers and nature-lovers. Everything was just awesome! I highly recommend everyone to stay here.
The most enjoyable hostel experience I've had. Being in the forest, near a very beautiful lake, makes for a unique stay in Berlin. Being a bit far from the city center wasn't a problem - you meet and get to know your fellow hostel members a lot better. You can spend a week chilling outside on the giant sofas, watching some TV, taking forest walks, or hardly leave the hostel at all, and still feel like it was a day well spent. Two downsides: there are an endless number of mosquitoes, so do pack lots of repellent. Also, the showers aren't the best in the world, but compared to everything else you get, I'd just be nitpicking. 10/10 would recommend!
JetPak was UNREAL. I had the most AMAZING time there, and I wish I could have stayed longer despite the fact that I extended it by 3 days anyway. The family is so fantastic, as are their few employees. The woods the lodge is located in are beautiful and magical, and there are dogs EVERYWHERE! I made so many genuine friends staying here and I sincerely doubt I would have enjoyed Berlin as much as I did because I stayed at JetPak. I felt so comfortable and at home there. I can't rave enough about this place and the incredible family that runs it; stay here, you won't regret it. TIP: take the X10 to Zoological Gardens, and you can reach many hotspots from there. Quicker and easier than taking the 115 to a U/S station. TIP 2: go walk around the woods. Brig bug spray!
The showers are not clean (only one for men. The door is broken. There is no intimity inside. It smells humidity. The door of one of the room is just taken off and put next to. The daily personnel doesn t speak english and is not helpfull Only the location is good. But still to remember that there is no kitchen! And the nearest store is 30minutes walk! So, good luck
I had a great stay at the hostel. The hostess was friendly and helpful, as was the overall atmosphere amongst the guests. The location isn't bad per se, I personally loved where it was situated, and it was easier than I had thought to commute i to the city centre. It was clean and the stay was worth the money spent. Have already recommended to a few friends.
