dirty equipment in kitchen, after midnight no N-line go to that hostel, if you go there I recommend you get off bus at the station Fridrich-Junge Str. No bars and clubs near the hostel.

It's the most disgusting hostel ever seen. It's quiet cheap, but if you can pay some euros more don't go there otherwise you will have a bad memory of your holiday. There's not reception, nobody to ask informations, the owner (when you can find her) speeks only german, she is very rude. The hostel is like an abandoned hospital. It's really dirty and stinky. It's hard to guess the last time it was cleaned up!Badrooms and bathroom are full of spiders, webs and insects. maybe our description is not enough to show you how awful is this place! Pictures upon request.we wonder how a place like this can be open! daniela

Absolutely horrid. Unwelcoming building; no reception to speak of; staff very rude; room was bare with dirty carpet, unpainted walls and a broken chair; spider colony living in the shower; no maps, directions or information available; quite far out of the city centre. Do not stay here.

we stayed there for 12 nights and we were satisfied, for that money it's great. The room at the fifth floor are better ones and bathrooms as well, only problem is that there's not too many people and it is a bit far from the city centre. If yoo need the supermarket you can find one by taking Bus 347 in front of the hostel. Go with it for two bus stops and when you get off you will see a Lidl store on your rught side. It's a bit confusing. Staff in the hostel is only there for few hours a day. It's apsolutely fine and worthy for the price you pay!!

If you want:cheap and unlimited hotel. If you expect silmply requirements it`s for you. It is located (short way to bus stop) 2 bus stops from s-bahn line. You have to pay 3euro extra if you want pillow-case. You can make use of kittchen (there are plates, mugs and kettle).

Fairly quiet and cheap private rooms near Central Berlin. Public transport doesn't reach it after midnight, however. So sleep early or stay out all night, your choice.

January 2009, Berlin (-7 ºC): cold showers must be what it's pretended to be valued in "fun", along with the price we had to pay for this funny thing. 3 points for it. But if you are used to such challenges, get prepared for the slippery floor (if you are lucky it's only water and toilet paper....) of the "bathroom" (if I might call it so... since anyone can get in to have pee pee or poo poo and see you shivering tying to clean yourself ) Oh, and bring a pair of slippers if you don't wanna get sticked to the sweet-memento-drops-patterned fitted carpet.

Hostel rooms are clean. There's no private showers, You can't even close the door on key when You want to take a shower. Not much people, quiet neighbourhood, 10 minutes by feet to the nearest train station.
