Info & Description

The former glory of this industrial suburb is still a massive feature of the local architecture. Our St Christopher’s Paris Hostel is actually a reconstruction of the 19th century warehouse - Magasins Généraux. The original burnt down in 1990 but with the help of renowned architect Chaix et Morel, we’re rebuilding the site with the original blue prints in mind. The interior however is a little different and we’re proud to offer the latest safety, security and hygiene standards, all contained within the classic and timeless style of our old school building. Just over the canal is our sister warehouse, which has also been regenerated and is now crammed with the brightest Student minds in the French capital.

, ugly neighborhood , the most useless staff I have ever met: very unfriendly specially a black guy in front desk ,that "hostel" doesn't even have a decent software :my bed was given to another person 3 days in a row , so they woke me up every day at 1 a.m to fix that problem , bref , this hostel is a piece of s...

It is safe, people who would share the dorm with you would be nice. Bring your lock with you. Breakfast is a joke. The canal and the area around are nice but not so close to the centre

  3. Nicola From Italy On November 30, -0001

great place to stay. near to two metro stops. nice rooms, clean bathrooms.

  4. Alex From England On November 30, -0001

Great hostel, a bit far out, but close enough to a metro station to make it great

  5. Grace From Australia On November 30, -0001

St Christopher's was my first hostel stay ever, and it was a perfect choice! The pople are lovely and so helpful and the location is pretty good being a 2 minute walk from the supermarket and the metro. Great place to stay, highly reccommended!

I stayed here with my two friends and we were very impressed with this hostel. It was clean, the staff was super nice and overall it felt like a comfortable, safe place to stay. I would definitely recommend this hostel for anyone staying in Paris. It is kind of far from the main attractions but it's not so bad with the metro system.

  7. Monica From USA On November 30, -0001

Really fun, clean and safe. A bit far from most of the main Paris attractions, but there is a Metro station within a few blocks. Would stay here again!

Staff could not find my booking and the hostel was full so they moved me to St Christopher's canal.

THe bar/disco atnight downstairs creates a lot of noise if you like to sleep at 22:00 when you had along day exlporing the city. I would suggest better isolation with the bar/hostel for the room. even it was said . then think about that not all people go party hard everyday ;-). Other then that was nice!

Great place to stay and met some great people.

The place is really near from Gare du Nord station , good place for transportantion to anywhere, but the neighborhood looks terrible in the afternoon and night. Breakfast good! Also, there is a bar/restaurant next to the hostel : good food , not expensive. The room (10beds no private bathroom) was clean , there are free secure boxes for luggage under the bed, also lockers for 5 euros/day. The bathroom was not so clean, but was ok.

  14. EN-WEI From Taiwan On November 30, -0001

  16. Katrina From New Zealand On November 30, -0001

Great hostel with friendly staff and a great location for those looking to move on from Paris via Gard du Nord. Overall would definitely recommend, but be warned that for longer stays the area is not the safest.

It s very clean and new. The toilet and shower (hot and good pressure) were clean and were enough for all of us until ALL of the toilets had to be fixed and we had to use the disable toilet ( 2 on every floor with attached shower). The mattress was comfortable and I really liked the curtain. The location and the free breakfast left a lot to be desired though. The location is not only far, but also uninteresting. The immediate area is pretty, but area around the metro and the road between are not at all. There are shops on the main road, but they are not what you would want to look at. We tried some bread from one of the shop on our first night and it was terrible. There were three of us, so walking back at night wasnt really too bad, but I would never walk there alone at night ever. The breakfas

it is a very new hostel, the facility is really good. but since its capacity is so huge, it's kind of hard to connect with other backpackers. and its free breakfast only provides boutigatte as bread, i had to order something else for breakfast then. btw, the wifi is very volatile as well.
