Peace and Love is a very special place, everyone who works here loves Paris and all its magic. When you come to Paris this is definitely the only place you will want to stay to really have a good time.

Every room at the hostel has a shower and sink, ensuite rooms have a separate bathroom with toilet inside. For the triple bed mixed dorms, there are showers in the room and toilets on the hall way.
We have a pub on the premises which stays open till 2.00am and specializes in cheap beer (4.30 a pint during Happy Hour from 6 to 10pm!!) and cocktails including country-time and kool-aid drinks.

Peace & Love was completely renovated. There is a TV on the first floor, a great sound system and free access for the Wi-Fi from 8am to 6pm.

For breakfast, lunch, dinner you have full cooking facilities with oven, microwave, fridge, pots, pans - everything!

Sheets, covers and pillows are provided and towels are included in the price.
Our double private rooms have a double bed. We also have triple rooms, quad rooms and a 14-bed dorm with bunk beds inside.

There is a safety box which you can use free-of-charge at the reception.
We have free safe storage in the kitchen area for valuables secured by your own code and video surveillance.
We have a locked luggage room that you can use free of charge.

The hostel has no curfew, no lock-out and is open 24 hours a day.

Around the hostel, there are bakeries, a laundromat and supermarkets.

Peace and Love also boasts many board games for your enjoyment, such as Pictionary, Balderdash, Mad Gab, Uno and of course Scategories. It's fun, fun, fun!

Also we will hold your reservation for 3 hours following the arrival time you submitted on your booking when you processed it online. If you do not arrive after 3 hours we will have to cancel your booking. If you are delayed for some reasons, please contact us to let us know. So please make sure to submit your arrival time on the booking. If you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours before or if you no-show, we will charge you the first night.

    THIS IS AN AWFUL HOSTEL FOR WOMEN. DON'T COME IF YOU ARE A WOMEN. I CAME WITH A FRIEND AND STAYED A WEEK AND IT WAS A NIGHTMARE!!! THE STAFF TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO ATTEMPT TO DO THINGS TO US THAT WE DON'T EVEN WANT TO IMAGINE. IT IS A VERY SKETCHY HOSTEL OVER ALL. PLEASE DO NOT COME. OUR LOCKERS WOULD GET LOCK DIFFERENT DAYS, MY ACCESS CARD TO THE ROOM WOULD ALWAYS GET BLOCKED, AND THEY WOULD SOLVE THIS IN A SECOND BC THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING TRYING TO SEPARATE US. THEN ONE NIGHT THEY DID A BIG DINNER DOWNSTAIRS AND A WOMEN OFFERED AS FOOD THAT WE KINDLY DID NOT ACCEPT. LATER THAT NIGHT, A WOMEN CAME INTO OUR ROOM AT 2 AM TO SLEEP AND WE WERE TOLD SHE WAS A STAFF (IT WAS HER) AND SHE LEFT AT 8AM WHICH MAKES NO SENSE. THEN WE HAD A NEW ROOMIE AND SHE WOULD ALWAYS LEAVE THE ROOM AT 11PM WHEN WE WOULD GO TO SLEEP AND WOULD COME BACK AT 5AM. THEN IN OUR LAST NIGHT WE HAD A SURPRISE BC THIS "WOMEN" THAT CAME IN AT 2 AM AND HAPPENED TO WORK THERE, DECIDED TO ASSIGN A MEN IN OUR DORM OF 3 PEOPLE, WHICH WAS UNACCEPTABLE AND WE ARGUE ABOUT IT AND THE ONLY SOLUTION WAS FOR US TO LEAVE FOR THE NIGHT AND WE DIDNT GET A REFUND. OVERALL, THIS HOSTEL IS VERY SCARY AND WEIRD FOR GIRLS. THE STAFF IS VERY WEIRD AND MEAN.

    Great Hostel, awesome staff and not far from them Metro. I was in a 3 people room, the room was clean, the shower in the room was clean, the toilet OUTSIDE the hallway was kept clean also. I was overall satisfied and willing definitely come back. Marie

    The hostel was okay for the price. We were on the sixt floor and there was no elevator, only a narrow staircase. The toilets are on the corridor and really small, without sinks. The area is not central, but the metro stations are near and reaching the sights was not a problem. Cleanness was okay, but one should not expect hotel-like neatness.

    Hostel in a good position, relatively clean. Service at the highest level. Only prices for rooms, double rooms could be lower. The area is ambulance, sometimes it can be noisy. I would recommend this hostel has its own atmosphere and is well worth the stay

    Awesome place, right across the road from Jaures metro station, cool bar and amusing and intelligent staff with cheap drinks who enjoy a laugh as much as the traveller, i would highly recommend staying there if you are in Paris, it's a mere two stops away from Gare du Nord! Thanks guys

    the stairs are very very smalls and it have a lot of floors so its difficult to get to your room they clean the room very late at afternoon and the value its expensive for the quality

    I think it's a great hostel with really nice people. I cannot rate the entertainment, because I was sleeping there only. I recommend it.

    Positive: clean room, good location right next to the Paris Nord train station and city metro, 24/7 check in and there is a bar downstairs which was pretty cool!!! Negative: You could hear ambulance and police cars passing by all night, the shower is tiny and wifi works only till 6 pm.

    Good features: price, powerful showers, good affordable bar, decent cafes, eateries and bars nearby. It is an ok location (20mins to the Seine) Bad features: it was rather dirty, quite noisy, and the beds are not comfortable

    There is one problem. The kitchen is not very nice and the food, which you have prepared there, you have to eat in the bar. It wasn't comfortable. But the staff was friendly:)Good hostel

    very small rooms (also tiny shower), smelly narrow long staircase, weird employee. we had to WALK up to the 7th floor to get to our room (there are only 3 rooms per floor), which is kind of hard, but the view is amazing! ...for paris, i think, this hostel is OK..you can survive there, but i wouldn't want to recommend it...
