Nice place, close to metro station. Lift was dirty and stinky, in room it was clean but bathroom was not perfect, tho.

One of the staff is very helpful while there was another one that seems to be having PMS. Atmosphere was horrible, corridor lights cannot be switched on until after walking down a pitch dark corridor. Pipes and facilites are very old, no WiFi in rooms. Pictures of the hotel shown might be from a much better hotel nearby, some good reviews might be fake. Only good things are the price and location. Will not choose this place again, i rather spend a bit more on accoms in other places.

  3. Ana From Serbia On November 30, -0001

This is a place for budget travelers not looking for much luxury. Old but cleaned, with staff acting indifferent, may seem a bit unfriendly. It's a good place if you are searching for a bed to sleep, bakery and places to eat in the near and spend your time exploring Paris.

it is an old but nice building, very good location, close to metro (subway) station and la gare du nord, I'm the kind of traveler that does not get scared with easy things, I don't care if a place is dark, not 100% clean and I don't care about the staff, I'm never at the hotel, just for sleep.BUT, as I only use the hotel to sleep I don't like BED BUGS, it is true they have bed bugs all over the beds, I got several bites in 2 nights and I killed 4 of them, very big and very gross. When I went back home I had to spray my bags, do the laundry 2 times and shower as I've never done before, I was very scared to bring them to Canada with me. People from hostelsclub should pay more attention to this review number "1000" about this hotel and either talk to the people in charge or just take it out as a suggestion. :( Too bad, it was a great place with balcony and close to everything.

First I got there, it turned out that they don't have my reservation ready, so I had to wait for 3h walking around Paris with my luggage. Room was just as much as you can expect for 20eur/night - nothing fancy, smelled a bit old, but you can sleep there. Situated in good place. No wifi no matter what the staff tells you. Would be better if they had at least coffee automat or snack automat.

you pay what you get for...but should be better options for your money

  8. Jessica From Italy On November 30, -0001

This hotel was definitely worth the €50 per night I paid. But it was only worth €50 (for a double room), so don't expect any frills. Velib stop right outside to get into central Paris- perfect.

  9. sarah From USA On November 30, -0001

the hotel was old and not great, BUT it's in a great location and if you get a room with a balcony (mine was just below the hotel sign) it is pretty cool. its worth it for a night or two since you wouldn't be spending much time in the hotel in paris anyways, would you?

  10. Kalai From Malaysia On November 30, -0001

Its very bad hotel, not clean at all... not good value for money... even give me 10 euro to stay ther also i won't... i never stay in the hotel i check out once i saw the room, its very very bad hotel.. the lady charge me for 10euro, coz i don want to stay there. i booked another hotel same time... Pls don't go there its really a horrible.. :(

the atmosphere and stuff I would like to give 0 points! They spoil all the fun factor! Moreover the place is very dirty and very cold. I don't recommend this place to anybody!!!

  12. Basat From England On November 30, -0001

This was truely one of the worst places i have ever stayed in. If fact it was that dirty, smelly and run down that we couldnt stay there and gave up the room. Completely messed up our plans for the New Year! There was no carpet on the stairs, no lighting, smelt of BO, the curtains were ripped, the place hadnt been painted or cleaned since it was built! Stay well away! This place truley seemed like someting out of a horror movie. completely inhabitable! I am shocked that places like this can even still exist and rip people off!

  13. Biao From China On November 30, -0001

Big and spacious room with standard washroom. A little unconfortness is short of a kitchen.

  14. Mir Hamid From Iran On November 30, -0001

The staff was so nice especially Mr. Mostafa

  15. Fikret From Bosnia And Herzegovina On November 30, -0001

Place is suitable for a smaller groups of adults, not recommended for children or older people (there's no elevator). Public parking (garage) is located just around the corner (but not cheap!), metro station is also very near (50m), and with cheap prices, this hotel can be recommended.

  16. Jordi From Spain On November 30, -0001

When we did the booking we saw a fake pictures, the pictures we saw are of other hotel located in the same street. When we arrive to the hotel we can't believe it. Moreover, the hotel is the worst hotel i have seen in all my life: uncleaned, old, without lift, old furniture, no higyenic, and I could write more and more..., we didn't spent any night in this hotel, at the latest hours of the night we were walking by paris trying to find other hotel, luckily when we don't know what to do because all the hotels were full, we find a room at the last moment of the day. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

  17. Katarzyna From Poland On November 30, -0001

People, I wholeheartedly dissuade you from booking that hotel! Two of us were bitten by bedbugs all over our bodies, including the faces. It's horrible to visit the city looking like a leper and scratching your body time and again. Ludzie, z całego serca odradzam Wam ten hotel! Dwoje z nas zostało pogryzionych na całym ciele,włacznie z twarzą przez pluskwy. To okropne zwiedzać miasto wyglądając jak trędowaty i bez końca się drapiąc.

  18. sofia From Greece On November 30, -0001

The hotel is ideal for insectologists!Dirty curtains falling down, the carpet hasn't been cleaned for at least 3 months, bugs crawling on the bed and on the walls at night,a lot of noise from the busy street outside, no lift (and I was on the 4th floor) and 2 out of 3 of the men of the staff knew no English at all.Needless to say, there was no decoration at all. I even thought to buy some cards and stick them on the walls- there are plenty of them in every corner in Paris! The only positive thing I found was the hot water at the bathroom. I definitely DON'T recommend it!
