Don't let the triple bunk beds scare you off because this hostel is AWESOME. THe staff is friendly and welcoming, shout out to Toby and .... (So sorry we forgot your name, but you were awesome too!) Even though we planned on hitting the bar scene, we ended up staying in the hostel common room with plenty of Coronas, pool and a music variety ranging from salsa to One Direction. Great night with the Italian paparazzi, Australian salesman, bizarre Slovakian and other lovely international people. Would definitely recommend this hostel-free wifi, breakfast, very clean, and great location. Had a great night, will hopefully be back someday!

I only booked this hostel as st christophers was booked out. There was no vibe or atmosphere in this hostel. As a single traveller it was hard to meet people at this hostel. The 3 bed bunks were ridiculous. Such a stupid idea, i felt so claustrophobic on the top and i also fell off the ladder when trying to climb down. Little did i know no one had even booked into the lower bed. The curtains are a good idea. No lockers in room, which should be in the room. Location wasnt too bad to get to the shops and lanes althouh the beach was a little further, still ok to walk too. I also woke at 6 am to hear a guy wailing and screaming while vomiting. Really unpleasant and disgusting thing to wake to. There seems to be mainly bucks and hens partys so the people that stay here tend to get very wasted.

Great place to stay. Staff are great. Ah showers are those annoying ones that turn off after about a 1min and you have to press the button again and again. Given said that, the water is hot and the showers are clean. Internet is good. easy to find. and curtins and individual lights in dorm rooms makes it great :)

Nicely situated close to the center and for Brighton reasonably priced.

Great hostel. it was very close to the beach and the staff were great and very helpful. The only negative aspect was the showers as one was flooded so we had to use the ones downstairs. Regardless of this i would still recommend this hostel. stephen

I booked the journeys for me and my 8 friends, all we were looking for was a nice clean place to rest out head after a big night out and it did the job! 3 teir bunks..much fun! all v clean and staff v helpful, definately worth the £25 a bed and its in a great location just a short walk from the sea front and main pubs/shops. All i can say its the rooms can get stuffy as the windows dont open the whole way. but would recommend!

  9. Orla From Ireland On November 30, -0001

The staff were very friendly, helpful and always smiling...its a great hostel in every way...well located between the beach and train station. Definitely would recommend this hostel to anyone.

It's around 5min walk from the seafront. You just go straight after crossing the main street where the brighton pier is.Quite a nice place to stay at for a short time.Alhough they've just opened it,the cleaning standards weren't the best. There're quite a few important things they have to take care of more properly (there wasn't any soap in the toilets, no bath mat or mop which made the shower area look rather muddy). The rooms are really nice though - 3-level bunk beds : ) There is a kitchen facility on every floor, 2 toilets and a shower (it's definately not enough for around 20 people staying there).Opposite the hostel there's a 24/7 shop. The staff is really nice and helpful. The prices could have been better but if you want to get a better deal just book the room in advance through the website hostelsclub.com.
