The location is completely fine and accessible to the city center. The rooms are a bit dirty and I couldn't feel safe inside although nothing bad happened to me. The wifi was on and off. The toilets and bathroom were shared and really dirty without liquid soap and tissue. It's ok for one night budget stay but not more.

  2. Katherine From Ireland On November 30, -0001

Upon booking in for a second night my husband handed Eric 1000 czech koruna and was charged 190 but only handed back 310 czech koruna, we though this was deposit but upon arriving on the Friday 17th Sept found Eric to be on holidays, no refund of the 500 czech koruna and I had to pay another 190 czech koruna for the night. So no we could have afforded a hotel at these rates.

  5. Claire From France On November 30, -0001

Bathrooms were dirty, beds weren't great. Staff was helpful, and since it is cheap you pretty much get what you pay for.

  6. Jensen From USA On November 30, -0001

They have bed bugs. I was bitten many times during my stay. If you can afford a cleaner hostel i would suggest you stay away from chili hostel

Really friendly staff, nice room but the bathroom was horrible.

  13. Sofiia From Ukraine On November 30, -0001

Accommodation and service quite good. Rooms are comfortable. The only problem was, that check-in lasted 2 hours, because of problems with internet on reception's computer. And you need to find currency exchange or ATM to pay deposit only in cash, in the night it's difficult to find it near hostel.

This hostel has an excellent location. I stayed 5 nights and I had no problems to reach everything by foot (about 10-15min to the old town, 25min to the bus station). The staff was very helpful, specially the desk guy in the evenings ;). He provided me a city map, explaining all the important and interesting spots, including also bars and nightclubs. He also recommended places to visit outside of Prague, which were amazing (Karlstejn and Kutna Hora). I'm very thankful about all his help during my staying. I really liked that you can have free access to some computers with internet, because the wifi connection can be weak depending on the floor you are staying. Every morning around 8-9am a cleaning lady entered every room to change the bed sheets and cleaning the floor, furniture and toilets. I didn't like that she missed cleaning beneath the beds, because normally there I left my luggage, and she was also quite loud. But the place in general looked clean. I didn't use the kitchen, but it looked ok (you have to pay a deposit for using it, but you get the money back if you leave it clean). I would recommend this place for your staying if you are looking for cheap prices, and a good location. I'd definitely stay there again the next time I visit this beautiful city.

They don´t advise you only can pay in Czech money. Czech crowns. We arrived at night, it was impossible to change. However they accept credit card. We had a proble with the beds, uncomfortabble, steal beds and regular mattress, and itchy and scratchy. Picaba mucho ese colchon, muy incómodo.

  16. MARIA DEL ROSARIO From Mexico On November 30, -0001

  19. Yulyana From Belarus On November 30, -0001

The last visit was great, but now it had been terrible. The room was not cleaned, we were not given towels, in the bathroom did not close the door and did not work the keys of the main door.

  20. Ahmed From Egypt On November 30, -0001

Very friendly staff members, location is rather close to the city center, almost 10-15 minutes walk, 10-minute-walk from the metro station. Nice dorm rooms, the only problem is that there's only two or three bathroom for 5 rooms each having about 6-10 people. And one of the bathrooms on my floor didn't have hot water for the morning shower. No wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby. Other than that everything's almost perfect.
